Wow. So the Bruce Lee figure is a 12" action figure, huh? You coulda fooled me, Mister.

Yeah, they could have added an additional head sculpt of Clark Kent (w/ the eye glasses as a separate item) as well as the outfit he wore in his initial appearance @ the Daily Planet: the dark blue pin striped suit and hat he wore in his initial appearance, along w/ a briefcase and cream colored rain coat.

@Harry00Long It's a collectors item. I will display it, and make sure it gets no damage. At 40 years of age I am way too old to play with them. I will give all my figures to my daughter when she becomes an adult. She can then sell them, or keep them.

@Snake4431 The torso might be twisted like mine was. I noticed this after the video. Luckily I was able to move the torso to where it should be, and the chest moved into place, as one pec was higher than the other. Just feel where the abs are and if the feel out of place, just use gentle movements to get them back to the centre

@psychosimon001 Sideshow have only just got them in too. You have to realise all those early reviews are from Hong Kong stock. If you wish to go that route in the future then you will get it faster, but you may get charged tax and customs, and you will have to pay for it to be shipped back if it comes to you with defects. Are you messaging them from your account page at OSB? If you have problems with communication join their Facebook page and post there

Congrats on gettin Sups!. He looks awesome, but I do agree they missed out on the mark with this, without CK. I never would have thought of that until you brought it up. Maybe in a few years another version will come out. What pose do you have him in?. If I got him I would have had him in a flying pose kinda landing down would look good. It's a pitty that you've said that that satnd isn't much good. I think I'm O.K. with not getting this now. I look forward to getting my Batman and Joker '89 XD

Oh and the difference between a cloak and a cape. I think a cloak can cover/wrap around the front of the body while a cape just covers the back !

Fantastic review Dino, as always ! I am SO excited to get this figure. From what ive heard of the stand im disappointed in it. I would have loved a Clark Kent outfit ! Since Clark Kent IS Superman ! I think I might buy an outfit to put over this to make my own Clark but obviously the glasses will be a problem and Hot Toys could have done so much more with this !

I would have NEVER posed Supes with kryptonite anyway. Thanks for a great review.

@MissQueenVee Thanks Victoria. The Superman suit is so amazing I would just display it like that, but I was tempted for a while to get a second headsculpt and make a Clark custom. Problem is the hairstyle for Clark is different. I could use a hat, but getting all this stuff would be as expensive as a second figure. I am just going to live in hope that Clark gets made.

The wait is over! Excellent review, and a little less reserved than your previous Supes vid, but that's ok :) It's certainly one of HT's best figures, and very happy they changed the face sculpt. Base could use improvements like you mentioned. For the base pole, I think one side (closed end?) fits in more snug than the other.

The ending almost made me cry! I totally agree with you: Clark Kent headsculpt and outfit would have made this figure perfect! They had a lot of space inside that huge box, but they didn't use it! :) I think the base looks great, it's a shame that it's not easy to put together. Great review! Enjoy the figure!

I'm thrilled for you mate, surely one of the highlights of your collection even though it may be missing a few extras. Is it just me? I think the fortress base actually looks good, surely it's worth persevering with that hairdryer to get the crystals and support in place. Come on Dino you can make it work :D

@RobotOnLine Yes he is the highlight along with a few other iconic figures like the Terminator 1984. The base looks good, but they really have not made it easy to assemble. The parts that slot into the base should have been made better.

@zombierepublican I think Arnie Kim is better at some faces than others, if you have seen his 1/4 Reeve sculpt, you can tell he can sculpt Superman, as good as he can sculpt Bruce Lee.

congrats on this mate! I understand you well on all the things you said that it lacks. I said this for the batsuit begins Batman and I'll say it for this figure, that it should have been made a DX with the PERS! If made so, this would be like the joker DX01 with 2 bodies (1 clark kent, 1 superman) in their respective looks and headsculpts with PERS and instead of the fos stand, the DX standard HT stand with the LED lights. BTW cloak and cape refer to the same thing just different names for it.

Hey Dino, great review, Im totally with you on the fortress of solitude stand, it is " a bit crap!!" as you mentioned. Also you're right about HT not including a Clark Kent sculpt. I wouldn't have minded paying a bit extra too. They did it with the the previous Superman, which i skipped on, as I thought it was a poor figure by HT standards. Love the comedy element you put on your review too. Nice one buddy.

Awesome review bro! From the video, the figure looks absolutely flawless IMO. True enough, they probably should have added either a Clark Kent figure, the bad Superman from Superman III, the green crystal or maybe even Sunman from Superman IV; something other than a couple of sets of hands lol. I also would've rather had them including the moon with the U.S. flag as a base instead of Krypton. THAT was a bit corny Lol. Nonetheless, I'm with you dinolast...I'll probably buy this figure anyway lol!
