@762ndTB Ive worked with Dawn, as well as going to a stage school with her adopted daughter Billie, and she is bigger face-to-face than what television shows, but despite her size, her personality is flawless. One of the greatest people I have had the pleasure to work with.

@Bexi222 I am not at all surprised to read your comments, Bexi. However, I wish people would stop referring to their daughter Billie as, "adopted daughter Billie". Who cares? They love her, she's their daughter and most of us are aware of her adopted status. I don't doubt that they both have their girls best wishes at heart. Her adopted status is irrelevant. PS: I love the comedy era they came out of. First time I seen Lenny Henry was on 'The Young Ones'. he was a fascist postie. Hilarious.

Its a real shame, ive grown up watching these 2 on the TV, they always seemed like a fun couple especially Dawn. 25 years is a long time. Sad. In a statement Dawn said they felt like brother and sister; so I guess the "in love" part left at some point. Oh well....they each have their own path and this is just another phase in their journey. Dawn can discover the path now as an individual and as a middle aged women myself there's alot of self discovery at this phase in life.

Why does everybody point out that their daughter is adopted? People go on about how adoption is better than abortion, but treat adopted people like second class citizens by keep telling them they're not the real child of their parents.

@SuzLa1 Yes, I don't know why this happens and it seems especially so when they talk about Lenny and Dawn's daughter. I put it down to ignorance on the part of the reporters but it really should be addressed. There are many adoptive parents as well as adoptees who feel angry at the way reporters or other people add in the 'adopted' bit, but it only reflects on the person who is always bringing it up.
