Well Audi has done it again in this movie, mega millions of dollars in corp sponsership, mega million dollar drivers.3 Diesel powered cars that pretty much dominate every other car just like there qautro powered vehicles did years ago that raised a big stink because they were all wheel drive ,audi always looking for ways to cheat to win races similar to to a gocart racing a lambo there's no contest. Audi is a big dissapointment Come on PEUGEOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you call being on the forefront of performance cheating, then you must hate all innovations because to stay ahead, you have to evolve. Audi is the epitome of endurance racing, in the same way Ferrari is the shit in F1. The Peugeot is damn fast, but its not always about speed, because it is a 24hr race so durability/reliability counts a lot too. Id rather be consistent and a few ticks behind to make it to the end, than be fast early and fade late. for now, Audi > Peugeot.

Anyone watch the 12 hours of Sebring?? That was an awesome race!!!! I think Peugeot threw it away... again, by putting the wrong driver as anchor. Montagny is an awesome driver but I was totally surprised he didnt catch McNish.

Audi was so dominant because they had no "real" competition.

Porsche's P2 racers are smaller, lighter and less powerful.

Audi had a clear advantage over everyone in their diesels because of the unfair rules regarding the amount of fuel they were allowed to have onboard. they were given a HUGE break since no one else was using diesel at the time.

Diesels have better mileage so more fuel + better mileage = clear advantage.

Even tho, Porsche Spyders were quicker on short tracks!

Nobody but Audi wanted to try it in P1.

Everyone is well versed in gasoline engines so everyone else stuck to what they knew best.

there weren't strict and well defined rules for alternative fuels.

well dyson was an amazing race team when they had the Lola B06, they could keep up with the Audi r10 cause dyson had figured out the Lola for many years. Audi beats the Peugeot now because of McNish, if Peugeot had drivers like McNish (I'm not saying Montagny or any of the Peugeot drivers are bad) they would win. Reason some teams won't switch to Diesel is cause they can't afford it or they don't know if the change will benifit them and they don't wanna take a chance?

I think the reason Audi wins so much is because their drivers have SO much more experience than the Peugeot drivers, and Audi have much better race engineers as shown in this documentary. As much as I love Audi, it pisses me off when I see Peugeot throw their chances away by putting in the wrong drivers at crucial times and stupid calls.

That's true Audi's drivers were much more experienced in "Endurance" then the Peugeot drivers. Peugeot had a bunch of F1 drivers on there team. The car was faster, but it had problems....

1: Yes. VW used to be the owner of Audi.. idk if they still are. Audi owns Lamborghini and they create the Gallardo.

2: VW and Lambo have little to do with eachother. At best they share small parts and ideas, but not much.

there's no such thing as "Volkswagen Audi Group". VAG is the short form of Volkswagen AG which simply means "Volkswagen inc." But you're right about the rest. you wont find much VW in a Lambo whereas you'll find much Audi in Lambo. nothing wrong with that. it's smart part-sharing which saves them lots of money.
