  • i love how much walter ships them

  • i miss peter!

  • I remember this moment!!! I was shouting "LISTEN TO YOUR FATHER PETER!!!!!" hahahahaha

  • I like annas face when peter says you look lovely today

  • @Dinkel20 isn't it funny? haha. it's sort says, "very good. interesting."

  • "Purple never goes out of style!" hahaha! Classic Walter!

  • This scene is awesome! So funny! I love it! Thank you for posting it!

  • gotta love walters face expression in the whole scene ^^

  • Well not in a near future Walter, not in a near future.

  • Ok, so this is what is said.

Olivia looks over and sees the semi-crashed car.

Olivia: "Lose a bet?" (In other words, why did you let Walter drive, did you lose a bet?).

Peter: "It was either that or flying lessons." (I'd rather let him drive the car then let him have flying lessons like he wants)

  • funny how Walter says peter needs someone that can just see right through him......In a later episode of the season "Jacksonville" ....Olivia does just that......she sees peter in a glimmering light.......because peter is from the alternative universe. ....

  • just try to imagine walter wearing a purple tux! xD hilarious! or peter wearing it. <3

"you look lovely agent dunham" :D

  • ROFL oh, Walter, you never fail to make me laugh... :D

  • Awww, Walter! I love him :D I don't think that Olivia would call him dad though, if Peter and Olivia were to marry. Their relationship isn't that close :( but it's so sweet of Walter to be so excited over the thought!

  • Despite the overall HILARITY of this scene, what really brought me over the edge was olivia's reaction to walter egging on Peter. She was like...okay, strange, moving on

  • awww Walter is Team Polivia all the way lol

  • I adore this scene, I repeated it about four times !

  • I love how Walter wants Olivia to call him dad when Peter doesn't.

The absolute brilliance of this scene makes me smile every time. :)

  • Peter looks like model in that peacoat and i love how Walter is constantly being the guy to suggest they're more than friends and they'd make a good couple.

  • "Lose a bet?"

    "Either that or flying lessons."

    LOL!!

  • When Olivia asks if Peter lost a bet, she's referring to letting Walter drive. When Peter says "It was that or flying lessons", he's implying that he had to let Walter drive or else allow him to get flying lessons. Seems so very Walter to insist on flying lessons, no?

  • LOL, notice how Peter doesn't deny anything about them getting married. He only says that he doubts she'll call Walter dad. XD

  • Lol h's so funny!!! And he's also so right

  • hahahah....walter is sooo very veyr funny.....but when he got one answer hes so good at fringe division

  • what episode is this??

  • @PrincessLeeWay 2x14, the bishop revival

  • oh this is sooo sweet!!! ;D i guess, peter will think about it!! xD

  • oh Walter, you never stop amazing me XD

  • nonsense. Purple never goes out of style!

  • Does anyone know what Olivia says at the end?

  • @TheAnonymousSarah

    Olivia: - Lose a bet?

Peter: - It was either that or flying lessons.

  • @jacekfreeman not quite understand what flying lessons implies

  • @VIPVICT but that's what Peter said, didn't he?:-)

  • @VIPVICT I think it's about Walter's driving

  • @jacekfreeman i thought she said "what was with that?"

  • @daspoon456 I'm not so sure... just checked with the subtitles, they say the same: "lose a bet". It still doesn't make a lot of sense to me o.O

  • @jacekfreeman yeah, idk its weird.

maybe its a next unanswered question of the show.

  • @jacekfreeman I would assume that Olivia saya 'Lose a bet?' because no one would voluntarily give Walter driving lessons XD Peter's answer implies that Walter wanted to either re-learn(?) to drive or get flying lessons. The idea of Walter Bishop in control of a plane certainly explains why Peter would let him drive instead! :D

  • @jacekfreeman

well Olivia is refering to Peter letting Walter drive, she asks if he lost a bet with Walter that made him let him drive

Peter answers that Walter made him choose between letting him drive the car or taking flying lessons

hope this clears it up !

  • @jacekfreeman It makes perfect sense to me. Olivia says "Lose a bet?" nodding towards the car. Peter responds with "It was either that or flying lessons." In other words, Olivia wanted to know if Peter allowing Walter to drive the car to the scene - given how dangerous that seems to be! - was the result of losing a bet with Walter and Peter implies that Walter wanted either that or flying lessons and letting him drive the car was the least dangerous option of those two.

  • i love how Peter says : " You look lovely Agent Dunham." and then how Olivia face look... :-D :-)

  • @mateshero can't agree more!!!!

  • i wonder what will happen in the season permeir

  • BEST MOMENT EVERRRR

  • haha love Walter. He wants to hook them up so badly!

like one scene in the first season when Peter and Olive came to see him while he was sleeping and he said "Do you two need the room?" LOL!

  • @Hootshot112- LOL! I remember that scene. In fact, I have it filmed. x3

  • @Hootshot112 I love that scene, but I thought he said "Do you too need the bed?"

  • @TheAnonymousSarah It might be! It pretty much means the same thing hehe!

  • Walter is so funny! Yes, I agree, Peter never actually corrects him, so he's not agreeing or disagreeing to the possibility of it x

  • Look at Olivia when Peter said that :)) So cute!!!

    I love this show!!!

  • see, even walter knows that peter and olivia are ment to be together.

  • You look lovely, Agent Dunham!

    hahahahaha

  • Umm I think myb u guys 4get how long it took Mulder, and Scully 2 hookup. This dance could go on awhile, lol.

  • hahaha this is probably my favorite fringe scene ever. :)

i love peters laugh, he also seems nervous. like he wishes that they would hook up and get married:)

peter and olivia should hook up or at least kiss!

and peter is so fucking hot:)

  • my god love this scene!!!

    peter=hot!

    peter and olivia=hotter!

    love that couple <3

  • lol failure at life

  • "You know Walter, tuxedo styles change."

"Oh nonsense! Purple never goes out of style!"

And then the actual camaraderie between Peter and Olivia. Love!

  • I am SOOO happy that they included this scene in the episode, and I can't stop watching it over and over again as well! I think we all are dying for Olivia and Peter to hook up, but if they include at least one scene as satisfying as this one in every episode, I can wait a little more for the hook-up. :)

  • haha I can't stop watching this scene. its so great and I was hoping for walter to say something about them two again. why can't they both just admit it!? I love how peter laughs like I dont think thats happening but at the same time its like the laugh of saying he wants it to happen?

  • I love when Peter asks "Who" and Walter says "Agent Dunham" like its the most obvious thing in the world.

And I have to point out that Peter didn't try and correct him. Gotta love that!

  • Yes! Peter doesn't fight him, and he doesn't make a big deal about it. Just an overly nervous laugh, and possibly a blush(wish the lighting was better to see!)

    Ah, love....

  • @rejectedreader xD lol it's true!!! xd I love that ;) I die when Peter says " You look lovely agent Dunham" xdd

  • 1st: YES-> PETER OLIVIA

    2nd: JOSHUA JACKSON IN A PEACOAT= LOVE.

  • you are my hero.

  • My gosh walter its so funny, Purple never goes out of style....lol....the picture of Walter dressing like that when he was getting married its so much fun.....................loooooooooollllllll

  • great now i can't stop laughing :D

the picture of walter dressed in a pruple tuxedo kills me

  • @tommelillo LOL me too!!!

  • THANK YOU for posting this!

  • Your welcome :-) This episode has so many good scenes :-)

  • Omg yes! It reminds me of the time Walter asked "she's beautiful isn't she" and Peter's staring after Olivia as he casually asks "who" but then Walter said "the slug". Now Walter's just saying it right out. :D Also, just to show that Olivia can see right through him they later show that Olivia totally knew Peter lied about selling the books for money.

  • @Velvetdusk09 Yes, I agree. But he sees right trough Olivia's moods too. He always senses first if she's upset like on her birthday (and without former knowledge like Charlie) and calms her down most efficiently (like in Bad Dreams).

They feel really safe with each other, I think and get to have some fun which could be what saves one's sanity in a workplace like that. :)
