  • wish the drums were louder :(

  • I saw Bruce with these guys as part of the Montreal Jazz Festival.

    Just awesome.

    I've been a fan since 1975.

  • Why isn't there a Planet named after this guy; Already?

I've been listening to him since the late '70s.

Been playing guitar for 40 years; and I'm pretty good.

But this Fellow never fails to blow me away!

If not a Planet; then he should at LEAST have his own Star!

Actually; I'm pretty sure that he already does!

    Bruce is an INTER-national Treasure!

We are lucky to have Him amongh Us!

  • i clicked on this just because of the dudes last name lol not bad!

  • astounding

  • I've just watched some Djanjo Reinhardt and now I understand why Cockburn is compared with him... not in style so much as ability

  • back to the very basic... or not. my day is basically just starting, hehe.

    ; )

  • love the drumming so much in this piece

  • wow! someone must stop him!!!! :)

  • Thanks for getting back about the band members. They're nice players.

  • Do you know the names of the other band members?

  • @puffynino - Ben Riley on drums; Steve Lucas on bass.

  • Wow - so atmospheric and chilly groovin'. He is criminally underrated, and this band is tighter than a Scotsman the week before payday.

  • That is staggering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fuck I wish I was as good as him on the accoustic guitar, but also the bass, he's a pretty good one too!

  • that's freakingly awesome and sick, bruce!!!

where can i find a video of your birmingham shadows?

    : )

  • Saw this preformed at the Grand Theatre, "Breakfast in New Orleans...Dinner in Timbukto" tour, Great concert!

  • Love it! Bruce keeps on creating a World of Wonders for us :-)

I saw him solo in Hamburg in February 2007. Usually I prefer his solo stuff, but this is just great.

What a pleasure it must be to be backed up by such a bunch of fabulous musicians.

  • Astounding. I like when he kicks the chimes.

  • Wow this is what tight and creative does!

  • Wow! What a workout! I think he plays faster than I type!!!

Cool, atmospheric sound on the axe!

  • great stuff!!

(I've been a BC fan for 30 years...)

  • I've never attempted to play this piece but i believe the tunning is DACGCF

  • Don't we wish we could play like this! What tuning is that? WOW all I can say

  • cool!

    what year? about 99?

  • Sorry for the late reply but the year was 2000, so close enough

  • Muy Bueno!!!

  • It's one guitar!!! Unbelievable

  • Jaw Dropping Musicianship from all of them. I saw Bruce play once from the front row, same thing, every member of the band was just unbelievabley good. Thanks so much for posting this.

  • @nostaticatall

"Jawdropping" hits the nail on the head!!

  • omg that was so good I cannot breathe

  • Wow. I've been hoping to see some quality live stuff from Bruce here. Thanks for helping us out. Makes me wanna go home and practice my guitar.

  • Man I haven't listened to him since '96 Charity of Night. I heard pacing the cage in my head and youtubed him. What a Gift. What a gifted man..

  • good stuff

  • very very good stuff

  • this is probably one of my favourite bruce instrumental songs. LOVE. IT. :D

  • Does it get any better than this? Cockburn rocks!
