  • LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This it what tv was all about NATURAL REAL COMEDY not like today's trash!!!

  • @MAA8772

More flexibility back then. Some of the stuff the past 20 years has been funny in a silly way but as a whole the concepts these days are stiff.

  • I think this is one of the funniest if not the funniest comedy sketch ever , each time I see it I laugh my head off "Brilliant"!

  • Some of this, if not all, had to have been filmed live for the director not to yell cut regardless of how hard Korman was desperately trying not to fall out of the chair laughing at Tim's antics.

  • OMG, I couldn't breath when Tim swat that fly with his numb hand.

  • Real comedy, not like today's rubbish.

  • OH, it hurts to laugh.

  • I'm cracking up at this even in the year 2011 (almost 2012)! That is genuine comedy.

  • Funniest show ever. Doesnt show hos expression thought after he sticks himself in the head.:D

  • how can any one not like this? you sad twats!

  • Hilarious!!!

  • Gqp0jxzzźpqwertyiuopp

  • ey frisky and outgoing girl who wants to have fun

  • Harvey just about lost it!!!!!!! XD I LOVE THIS!!

  • I laughed so hard I cried! This is priceless!!

  • one of my worst fears!lol clasisc tim conway and harvey korman i grew up watching them.

  • And that is why you should always brush your teeth.

  • i thought that was Jack Nicholson for a minute.

  • well Always a good time with me

  • This is the kind on spontaneity that is lost when they don't do live broadcasts. It's a shame that this kind of comedy appears to be a lost art now.

  • Now this is classic comedy! I love the way Harvey Corman is struggling to keep from laughing out loud! This is the kind of spontaneity that is lost now that th

  • I never knew why Patty and Betty were so affraid of the dentists in Port....could this be why?

  • hmz Be kind and nice with me and I will be with you

  • Being from the UK I think I first saw this clip on a comedy compilation show 20+ years ago. I keep coming back to this clip from time to time, always makes me laugh. And weirdly it's what rund through my mind if I am ever having treatment that requires use of the dentists drill. Very funny

  • I vividly remember watching this as a kid with my parents and my mother literally falling on the floor laughing. A great memory.

  • Today's so-called comedians rely on toilet humor and f-bombs to get laughs. They can't hold a candle to such legendary greats as Corman and Conway.

  • Carol Burnett Show was fantastic. A laugh a minute. The cast was perfect and it had writers who knew something. Not like the crud writers now.

  • Hey guys, can anyone tell me which carol brunette show it was when carol was a girl and her parents said "eat your vegetables" but she didnt and they told her not to get up until she ate them and years passed and a reporter came up to her and said how come you dont eat these and carol said well you try some and the reporter says "ok, give me a fork" and she goes, "AHA!!" yea lol someone please tell me the name

  • One of my all time favourite sketches!!!

  • This stuff is SO MUCH FUNNIER than ANYTHING TODAY!! I wish they would have re-runs of these shows!!

  • This is what great entertainment is all about! We watched this show as a family and looked forward to it every week! Great show - wish TV Land would rerun the Carol Burnett Show!

  • 41 people had novocaine injected into their mouse-clicking hand.

  • I love how Harvey Korman doesn't even last 30 seconds before he starts cracking up.

  • Genius.

  • "uhhhh i'll right with ya" lol right there

  • Tim Conway used to destroy Harvey Korman in every skit. He could never keep a straight face.

  • One of the GREATEST SKITS ever!!! Real humour . .no insinuation, no dirty words, just plain funny!

  • Comment removed

  • 41 people must have been to this dentist. lol

  • You guys don't realize the Tim Conway used to ad-lib all the time. It would totally throw off the other actors.

  • he is trying his hardest to stay in character lol

  • here is an example of good comedians, not like today.

  • everyone wa always witing for Harvey to crack up ,AND IT WORKED every TIME omg

  • @michel19612009 Actually they weren't writing to make Harvey Korman laugh, Tim Conway used to adlib the skits during the 2nd performance (frequently the version that was aired on TV) after a week of rehearsals and the first performance sticking to the script. What you see here is Tim going wild and torturing poor Harvey with impromptu additions just to make him lose his composure. It worked every time and we all loved watching it!!!

  • Tim Conway was a MASTER at cracking up the cast of Carol's show! I grew up in the era of The Carol Burnette Show, and I laugh my butt off, even after 30 + years of re-runs!!! NEVER get tired of these wonderful comics!!! gotta agree with my friends that say-"we need MORE of this type of show nowadays".

  • How I miss comedy like this! Good clean fun. Watching Harvey Korman lose it in this skit is what makes it one of the absolute best.

  • @Micknotic me too,absolutely

  • the innocense of the humor of the comidies ofthis era was the best ever, the roasts dean Martin and friends did were priceless, and they did it all without the vulgar crap on the roasts of nowadays. previous comments are correct, these people loved what they did and were truly taken by their own humor which made them even better. I long for the 60's for this and many other reasons. who can ever forget Foster Brookes?

  • Epic!

  • IMHO THE BEST comedy sketch ever written. Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were perfect together. Even though they couldn't keep a straight face. LOL

  • Harvey's in ability to keep it together was the joy of every sketch they did together...simply amazing.

  • my generation has really missed out from not having great comedies like the Carol Burnett Show on TV anymore!

  • 41 Dentists have viewed this apparently.

  • that ladies & gentleman is what you call masters of the art

  • Conway could take out Harvey in one sentence. FUNNY!

  • two of the funiest men ever

  • Man, I've been there.

  • 41 people have no sense of humor!

  • i have tears in my eyes OMG I'm LMBO!!! Tim Conway is a straight fool!!!!

  • Once my dentist accodentaly made his hand numb with a needle

  • Top sketch

  • I have no idea how any of them could keep a straight face.

  • @joshanator1 Carrol Burnett said that there is point when Tim will decide to stray from the script, in front of a live audience and with cameras rolling, and there's nothing you can do to stop him. All you can do, she said, is see where Tim will take you. Often his ad-libs are better than the material written for the skit.

  • One of the best bust ups ever, if not the best. How the hell could they work with Tim Conway? That man was born to make people laugh for sure

  • 30 seconds in and Korman is done, LMAO!!! That is awesome

  • Now that is real comedy,by two of the best.

  • Love comedy where the actors can barley keep a straight face, R.I.P Harvey Korman, thanks for giving me some of the funniest films and shows ever

  • My mom said that this is an awsome show

  • This seemed to be a prototype for all Conway/Korman comic sketches to follow - I've actually seen the entire sketch, and was even more rolling in the aisles (and evidently someone as physically agile as Conway was at this point could pull this off). A shame that the complete show that contained this (o.a.d. March 3, 1969) has never been put out on a legit DVD compilation - but then, this episode is among the first 233 Burnett shows co-owned by producer Bob Banner.

  • (CONT'D) Correction - the first 133 shows, among a total of 278.

  • @wmbrown6 I've seen very few clips from the early years of the Carol Burnett show. Did this Bob Banner guy have something to do with that?

  • @dsfddsgh - Let me correct something: Banner's estate (he died a few months ago) co-owns the first 132 Burnett shows, of which this is one. But his co-ownership is indeed the reason why the only place where you saw any sketches (including this) from within the show's first five years was the 1993 reunion special.

  • @dsfddsgh I wonder why he never let the early seasons be shown on TV in reruns? What a waste.

  • who is the dentist ? i know who the laughing patient is =)

  • @thumbfacenot Tim Conway

  • 40 people have no sense of humor

  • Comic gold. Tim and Harvey were so awesome together.

  • that's only 0.003% of idiots who don't appreciate classic comedy

this sketch in pee in your pants funny

  • Who are the 40 idiots who said thumbs down.

  • Corpsing is funnier than most scenes I reckon. This is pure magic.

  • I haven't laughed that hard in years!!!

  • i dont want to be a dentist no more

  • I think I would have the same trouble as Harvey. I would just be peeing my pants. lol

  • this is very funny ha ha lol lol

  • Too funny!!! I miss those days!!! We live with Jersey shore now...what???

  • I loved the Carol Burnett Show when I was kid. I just sat here and laughed till I cried. This is good!

  • How can 39 people dislike this classic, funny comedy? It was funny then, it is funny now. It will endure.

  • @Bigbubbanotrubba They believe, incorrectly, that laughing makes them less serious people.

  • @Bigbubbanotrubba i agree! xD

  • @Bigbubbanotrubba make that 41

  • 39 people have no sense of humor.

  • This is so funny

  • If you thought this was hilarious, wait until you see their outtakes. You'll be howling with laughter, trust me.

  • When it is so funny the actors cannot keep a straight face, you know you have good comedy. Please someone bring it back.

  • @onebaud Actually, if a comic REALLY believes in his material, it's very surprising that he's able "to deliver" WITHOUT breaking up. One of the primary reasons for T.V. taping situation comedy shows was to edit out all of the "falling apart" scenes...i.e., a 30 min. SEINFELD episode would take hours for this very reason.

  • @onebaud amen! lol

  • @onebaud A little history behind this skit. They practiced it many times, but this wasn't the skit they practiced. Harvey had no idea that Tim was going to be doing this during the skit. So, he was watching it for the first time, too. With that history, watch it again - it makes it better...

  • Hey TV Creators... Bring back the simple, light hearted stuff that true escapism should be made of.

  • the patient is cracking up!!!

  • I was laughing so hard it brought tears to my eyes and there are actually 39 morons who disliked this sketch???????

  • Dentist in Keswick riveredgedental.ca

  • Poor Harvey, it was so difficult for him to remain character.

  • Thats So Raven did a scetch like this a loooong time ago.

  • did mr bean copy from this?

  • @ash1ocean...everyone...has copied from this...

  • back in the day ... the Carol Burnett show was the funniest thing on TV ... the comedy every since then can not hold a candle to it ... you do not find comedic genius like that any more ...

  • this is the funniest conway and korman on youtube!!!

  • I love how Korman starts to loose it before he swats the fly. He knows whats coming.

  • As an actor I was told never to break character, but with Conway "operating" Korman never had a chance! The combo was pure comedy gold.

  • this gets me more EVERY time I watch...

  • Funniest live variety show ever....

  • So funny

  • it reminds me of Mr Bean

  • Harvey is just sitting there thinking what

is Tim gonna do next. Just pure Genius.

  • I'm so old I actually remember watching the original sketch on Carol Burnett.

  • This is so damned funny, Korman could hardly keep from losing it, entirely.

  • How they actually ever got an episode on is beyond me. The cast looks like they had so much fun and to watch Harvey Korman try to hold it together is classic. I don't know how they did it...but it was so funny.

  • this is my old dentist, hows yours?

  • Poor Harvey, Conways sole purpose for living was to detroy him on camera like this

  • @KlunkerRider i think it just ruins the skit

  • @longfootbuddy, you've never been on stage then, this is what comedians live for, even Harvey would tell you that.

  • @KlunkerRider i dont agree, i understand that they are known to "bust up" on this show, but to me, its unprofessional and its not nearly as funny as him keeping a straight face and staying in charactor...and most comedians know that

  • I loved watching thiss when I grew up, funniest ever.

  • I saw their live show just before Harvey died. They did this skit ! Omg I was laughing so hard Tim & Harvey true comic legends RIP Harvey!

  • Harvey should not try to hold in his laughter cuz it just makes you laugh that much harder! Live them together!

  • I first saw this clip on It'll Be Alright On The Night in the early eighties. Every time I see it I am in pain through laughing. One of the true classics.

  • I was at the orthodondits' office for oral surgery and waiting for the novocaine to take effect when I thought of this skit and began to laugh uncontrollably. The assistant came in to see if I was all right and I explained to her why I was laughing. She told me that she was afraid that the novacaine had hit an artery and went to my brain.

  • @MrUnidyne That's is so funny!!!!

  • Look at Harvey trying not to laugh...... :D lmao

  • The best there ever was and the best there every will be. The garbage out there now isn't worth watching once let alone repeating.

  • @xlch61 you are so right!!! This is classic entertainment at it'sbest. Nothing out there now comes close to comparing..

  • Classic!

  • CLASSIC vintage, hilarious comedy

  • LMAO.. OH HOW I MISS THIS SHOW... :(

  • so funny

  • I remember seeing this sketch a long time ago and could not stop laughing! I searched for and was delighted to have at last located it. Absolutely wonderfull!

    YBR35

  • I think this was one of their first sketches together - If Harvey Korman could have foreseen the years of hilarity that was going to unfold!!! Priceless!!!

  • Nothing, and I mean NOTHING was ever funnier than Mr. Korman breaking up....miss you, Harvey.

  • Apparently, this sketch originated from March 3, 1969.

  • I love how the guy is laughing so much

  • I have to get the dvd set NOW

  • wow this truly a classic!!!!!

  • Humor use to be so clean and genuinely funny :)

  • Well funny...classic x

  • This, not the Scarlet O'Hara dress was the single, longest sustained laugh in television history, so why isn't the entire routine played here?

  • Never ever will you see entertainment like this. I was a young boy when this came out. Good clean humor is a rare thing anymore. Families seemed to have a greater bond watching these shows together....

  • I would be rolling I dont know how he kept it in

  • oh my gosh sooooo funny!!!

  • luv u carol even though ur not in this sketch

  • this was an all time classic sketch! I always loved when Harvey couldn't stop laughing!

  • So true, you don't have to have blank this or blank that to be funny...

  • Can't hear it

  • The moment at 2:20 - you can see in Harvey's eyes he knows what's coming...and how powerless he is. There are greats, but physical comedy belongs to Tim Conway, author of "How To Make People Laugh Until They Pee Their Pants".

  • Love this! I have such good memories of my parents watching this show and we'd all be cracking up. Harvey and Tim were SO funny!

  • Funniest...sketch...EVER.

  • Look at how Harvey Korman is holding back his laughter

  • Coolness. 1000!!!

  • Comedy today has been reduced to bathroom humour and yelling. Not very few comedians and writers that are around anymore.

  • I'm never going to the dentist again...

  • Thank You Carol, Tim and Harvey, VERY much!

  • It's hard to imagine that ANYBODY finds Tim conway to be funny!

  • @bdobbsthepipe

    Are you dead? Dumbass

  • @HellHammerX

No, i'm very much alive, moron. Tim conway is as unfunny as a man could be!

  • @bdobbsthepipe did the guy do something to you. that was too funny. and to see that harvey was over done made it even funnier.

  • Too funny. You can just see Harvey Corman trying not to bust a gut..

  • The best sketch ever!

  • Im sure those 33 assholes are the same dickheads that go to other videos and post they don't like it, cause they think there rebels. course when they reach 13 years old maybe they'll understand.

  • Tim Conway's classic bumbling dentist routine. Writers can't write this funny...it takes the comic genius of these guys to make it happen. This Youtube vid has had well over a million hits and no wonder.

  • wow, 33 people are idiots

  • Harvey is dieing

  • A Classic Tim Conway Harvey Korman Skit on the Carol Burnett Show

  • OMG!!!! does anyone know what the Big 6 is???? Well, at Cimarron elementary, We do the Big 6 project, it is where you research and study about your person and I am Carol Burnett!!

  • the funniest part in all of these are seeing all of them trying not to laugh!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

  • they arent laughing at Tim Conway..but rather Harvey Kormans trying to hide laughter.

  • I love how Tim always destroys Harvey in these sketches.

  • I miss these guys so much

  • Absolutely excellent! You guys who don't like it watch carefully. You're looking at genious, pure and simple.

  • This is funny but I always liked the skits with Carol and Harvey when they played husband and wife. Those were skits that would make Vaudeville proud.

  • Tim cracking up Harvey (every time) made it even funnier
