There are two reasons Ichigo didn't get him: Renji is faster and Ichigo jumped up and yelled instead of just swinging. Anime characters are always fast and strong and have powers, but few are actually good fighters.

Renji's horrible math always makes me laugh. lol. he says he is "five times stronger" but the seals he had seal 80% of his power. that would mean hes three times stronger, not five. nice one, Renji. lmao.
