Wait wait wait wait. Okay. I understand that THIS Peter is from the alternate universe, but was that same Peter ACTUALLY Walter's son? In the other universe? Or just some random person that he chose to bring over? Was the Peter that died in OUR universe ever Walter's son?

Hm...I hope it gets explained in the next episode. I can't wait.

Yes it will be explained in the next episode called "Peter". It's about the mirror universe and is told mostly in flashback, featuring a young Walter at Peter's funeral and then his obsession with finding a way to save his son from death by crossing over into the alternate universe.

In one of the episodes Walter visits peter's grave (as shown) and than once you think about it a bit, Walter went to the other universe to take the peter from the other universe so he can have a son! :) I am an adict!

All the best shows ever created have their characters die sometimes multiple deaths. Buffy, Angel, X-files, Reaper, whatever. Nothing is ever final till the show is canceled at least once too.

What makes me wonder the most is if Walter brought Peter from the "enemy" reality, or from another one. If it was from the rival reality, then I wonder what that reality's Walter has been doing. Maybe he will be revealed as the ultimate villain because of having his son kidnapped by this reality's Walter?

Also, I'm almost certain the Observers are from even another reality, perhaps one much more different from the -two?- struggling ones.

I like this show so much. :D
