I have recently got this series and I am currently on episode 8, I first read 3 of the manga books before getting the anime and so far both have been awesome!

This a good series ... not the best I've ever seen but worth watching. Really surprised me that they killed Trains girl friend off so quickly ... and she seemed to be a great character ... just wish she would've made it into a few more episodes (actually she deserves her own series) ... oh well.

That's usually the case. Original is better than it's adaptations. It was ok, IMO until that weird little plot at the end (that thing about Eve which was really just off)

During the run of BC manga, the anime was getting close to it's end while the manga still hasn't finished yet (very close though), so they decided to add a sub-plot near the end.

SPOILERS AHEAD YOU ARE WARNED (I apologize, I have to do this for some who scroll)

Anyways, Eve turns into this big giganto final boss and tries to destroy the whole town/world whatever. With the help of everyone else, a corny ending was brought in where Eve was finally released and they lived happily ever after.

True... I mean why the hell not? It's shounen right? Go with the flow? Maybe it was 'cuz I was expecting to much from it. Either way this was probably one of the first few titles that I started off with before I really got into anime, so like DBZ (like it, but look back on it your like "Eww" or whatnot. Like... it was good for it's time)

The anime is pretty good, but personally, I liked the manga more, it follows a different story though. You might want to check it out. You can read all the chapters at a website called MangaVolume if you're interested.
