  • @lovesheart Thnx for the post. Great song. too bad it didn't make the album!

  • @DutchHeartMonger1 Yeah no kidding aye, love it! Cheers!

  • look at the rehearsal video for" what about love" and then think of the amazing, polished official release. now, think of how awesome this particular song would have been as a polished, officially made, nevison-produced gem. this would have been a huge drama rock song just like "what about love". this was an opportunity lost.

it should have been produced and polished just like the other heart 1985 songs.

it could have been released at a later time or used on a movie.

  • wow this song is amazing have yal herd it yet???

  • I LOVE Ann.............

  • where is the rest of the band ? great video

  • @40ghostrider Resting, their tracks are done for the moment.

  • ahhhh i wish this was on an album!!!

  • @RioVonBlanc Me too.

  • Thank you for uploading this!

  • @timstar1 You are very welcome,I feel happy bringing a little joy to ya and others.

  • Where on earth do you find all these rare video's the rest of us don't even know about? Very cool...thanks!!!!

  • @lovesheart right on man !! do you have anymore vidoes or shows from 85-86 ?

  • MAN ANN IS A FOX!!

  • the intro music is great, but Ann's delivery doesn't blend with it. Was the producer out to lunch during this take?

  • stress break number 001. another casino finished, first council casino in the booming town of newkirk oklahoma. hope your doing well.

  • Wow -- it's amazing that she can do a complete take so well! Most people have to piece it together in the studio. Love Ann!

  • Great voice Ann, you're magic!

Funny, with those papersheets, she look as a teacher before to entry in a classroom...

  • just lovely to hear :D ann rocks

  • Nice song. She's got an amazing voice.

  • I use to have these VHS tapes, but they were destroyed from Hurricane Floyd.

  • april wine was so good in concert..

  • i visited your channel, it's great.I see your 17 years old, i'm just slightly older than that....lol... heart is timeless, great talent never dies.i was looking at my old ticket stub and i was wrong,it was 1977. and it cost me $6.50. The old videos you have are awesome. i use them for stress breaks after a crappy day. thanks again...

  • @scryvsn I saw the 1st tour it was 75 or 76 and it was Heart opening for April Wine,I don't have the stub but I think it was $7.50.

  • i've loved them forever...saw them in boloxi mississippi the 80's the only place to stay was the holiday inn, my mom was the manager, and carded nancy in the lounge....lol....

  • @scryvsn Carded Nance, XD,that's funny. Baby face! lol

  • @scryvsn What do you mean 'carded'?

  • @heart6056 I.D carded thought see was to young to drink

  • @scryvsn Too young to drink...that's a good one :)

  • I love how she just gets into it at the chorus and screams (in tune :)) Ann Wilson is an incredibly gorgeous, incredibly talented woman. Love :)

  • Ann really hit her stride in the mid-80s. She still had that insane ability and youthful abandon combined with a well-earned prowess over of her vocals. She is still drop- dead amazing but this period was my favorite as far as her voice. Her vocal for Wait for an Answer on Bad Animals is ridiculously good at capturing this.

  • OUTSTANDING SONG should have been added to bad animals in 87 or brigade in 1990. heart + ron nevison= the best ever.

reminds me of a flashdance-type song except it is rock. this should have been used in an 80s movie like top gun.

  • awesome song. since this could not be added to the '85 release it should have been added to 1990's brigade.

there was plenty on brigade that could have been removed to make room for this awesome song.

this has a ron nevison sound with a touch of flashdance music to it.

    awesome song.

  • Damn she is amazing!!.......thanks for this one too!!.....

  • Ann makes it look so effortless.....crazy.

  • I know. ; )

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Why have I never seen this?? I Love to see Ann just ROCKIN! Ann is takin over me!! She is my DIVA! What an amazing voice. LOVE HER!

  • Beautiful - loved seeing this. Been a fan since '75. Ann rocks!!! Thank you sooooo much, 'lovesheart', this was wonderful.

  • I can't believe I never saw this.Huge fan (dreamboat annie...on vinyl...beat that)..Thanks for the post...

  • They've added Never and more recently "What About Love" to the setlist.

  • they have been performing Never the past couple of years in concerts, I saw them last year and they played it.

  • Who knows, maybe somehow word will get to them and they'll put it on their next release. We can only hope and PRAY. <3

  • Makes you wonder why this was not put on one of their 80's albums. It's much better than many songs they did record during that era. Thanks for sharing this gem!!

  • Ann Wilson IMO had the most popwerful voice I ever heard from any woman. She did a lot whether it was Heart or making tracks for movies.

This would've made a great song for a movie.

    Thanks lovesheart :)

  • Yeah,I agree,an unused gem!

  • What a great song!!! Thanks for this!!

  • What a treat this is for Heart fans. Thanks for sharing these!!! I love the chorus of this song and Ann of course nails it perfectly.

  • Your welcome atomcrush.

  • Awesome, still in 2009 one of the best rock voices ever! Just saw them in Atlanta the day before Memorial Day, they still rock, and Ann's voice even sounds stronger now than it did in the 80's, not too many performers give me goose bumps when they sing live; Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Jeff Davidson of Korn, David Draiman of Disturbed, Annie Lennox, thats about it, now I can add Ann to that short list of the incredible vocally talented goose bump givers for sure!

  • Cool,so you must be enjoying these out takes aye? : )

  • Yeah, very much so. Thanks alot. I loved them back in the 80's when I was a teen, but didnt really appreciate their talent, since I'm a bit more musically diverse and have been to literally dozens of a variety of artist shows, I must admit, some shows I paid 150 bucks a pop for were not half as talented as Heart, Ann for sure has a gift, the only other rock female I could even think of that would be as good or better is Janis Joplin, but she's dead, so I think Ann is the rock Queen hands down!

  • Thank you lovesheart for sharing these rare gems with us!

  • Your welcome sweetie,Ann in all her glory! : )

  • Still wondering how it didn't make the cut... Ann's voice keeps amazing (bs?) me, no matter how many times I've heard it.

Thanks Paul, for bringin' us yet another "hidden" Heart song, thanks a lot!

  • My pleasure dear!

  • Isn't this a song on bad animals?? It sounds like it became one for that album or a stepping stone for another one.

  • You know Mike it may have been a stepping stone for another!?

  • All this behind-the scenes footage you've posted is truly remarkable. It's too bad the video quality isn't better, but it's fascinating to see the sessions.

  • BobbyinNashville wants to know where to get this song.....Well good luck Bobby, This is as good as it will get right here!!! This song was never commercially released and not as a bootleg either. If you find it, let me know.

  • While I can understand why this song never made it to an album, it's simply great to see this footage of my favorite singer in the world. Thanks for posting!!

  • Im so thrilled, this is the very first time I listen to this song. A million thank you's sent from Greece to lovesheart.

  • Yes... as usual Paul...!

    yeahhhhhh!!

  • Awesome Paul! Thanks so much as always for sharing these rare clips, you rock!

  • WOW! Thank you!

  • It was long ago since I last heard this one. Thanx!

  • Yay!! Thanks for posting more. Love them!!!

  • Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. WOW.

  • Was this song supposed to be in the 85' 'Heart' album and did not make it? it sounds very mid 80's indeed...but whats its story?

  • This one was during the 85 sessions for the smash hit album:"HEART",as good as it is it never made the record, this is very rare indeed, enjoy!

  • Oh!!!...No matter how many years pass, there's always something new to learn about their 'big hair' era...thanks!!! ;-)

  • Where can I get this song?

  • You've got some great stuff in your your collection Paul. Thanks for sharing all these with us!

  • Amazing and rare stuff, where do you get this!? Great.
