boy thats a nice cycle i had one just like it when i was 20 i put the kick leg on it and it started 10 th kick or there about then i took it out and flew to 100 mph with only one hand (mod clutch)you should of seen the look on the car drivers faces when i passed by them lol it was priceless

that Ironhead had to be warmed up already, mine does that all the time after its warmed up. I can rarely get it to start one kick (though it does sometimes) and just jump on and ride it that quick. Good for you if it starts that easy. Cool!

I think it was '75 when Harley had to conform to putting the shifter on the left side and the rear brake on the right.

Yes it is a right side shift. You can see me put it in gear at :53.
