It Lego showing a little humour! The guy has two pairs of legs - one with tropusers and one extra yellow pair of legs with black at the top, which is supposed to represent bare legs and underwear!

It makes it easier to build - All the parts for the bottom layer are in bags numbered "1" etc.

Great video. Appreciate all the effort. My 10-year-old son just finished his Grand Emporium and wanted to point out that your chandelier is hanging upside down. I would also recommend Grand Emporium over Cafe Corner because it has a lot more detail.

If you mean the blue flat corner piece on the floor - its meant to be blue as per the instructions. There seems to be no reason for this other than Lego doesn't do green corner pieces. The blue is hidden though on the final build as on of the plant pots sits on top of it.
