BLAH!!! i just used this on my dark brown hair with blonde bangs.

it turned the blonde GREY!!!!! its kinda cool looking. so im not too angry.

They say color over color doesn't lighten hair. NOT TRUE, I dyed my hair RED, yes, RED with L'Oreal Feria. Started with a dark red, then lighter and lighter. Just saying that it does work.

COLOR OVER COLOR WILL NOT LIGHTEN HAIR! Once you color it dark even a hi lift color won't make it light or blonde.

use 2dye my hair dark brown(almost black) every 4weeks.then dyed it light brown with a gold tint,which made my roots go ginger n rest stayed dark brown.then i dyed it dark brown to get rid of ginger roots.since then i have grown it out, it has been a year n now my hair is half lightbrown (natural color) with faint ginger line in middle,n bottom is dark brown. wana go a suttle blonde,had enough of growing it out.what shall i do?what would hairdressers do? look at my dp so u can see.ANY ADVICE?Xx

@MissBudgetBeauty duhh of course the pink would turn gray... idk why you'd use a box color lightening product on already colored hair. and yes, you should've applied it to your roots LAST. however, i like the gray/silver/purple streaks, you look like rogue from xmen lol

@dannys2222 the colour i used does lift colour! it has worked for me in the past and did lighten it slightly on this occasion but my hair was very dark and had a lot of build up! i understand why my roots went lighter.. i've been dying my hair for 10 years, i just like to experiment

@dannys2222 you're infuriating! this product DOES lift colour, it is possible to lift colour without bleach.. on this occasion it hardly affected my hair because it was very dark but i have had dyed brunette hair previously and this worked really well for me which is why i bought it again... i subsequently used colour B4 (no bleach) and it lifted to a strawberry blonde colour, i then bleached it to blonde. I understand you have a lot of experience in the area but you don't know everything!

amazing the difference those few shades make - sems to make you face look longer. the dark brought attention to your eyes and they looked so deep and dark, but they look lighter now, more hazel, with the new colour. amazing!

I've redone my pink since and its really bright! i need to do something about the roots though coz in daylight the orange...is pretty bad! not so much orange maybe but just obviously lighter! i can't believe i didnt think that would happen d'oh! x
