Could you tell me how to connect my laptop to the blue wire; I am staying at my brother's house and want to use MY laptop, rather than his spare-room computer, because my laptop has my stuff on it from London.
if i did need ay thing to buy what would it be because i just tryed it like a million times and it sayed access point not detected so im just going to buy my stuff so what do i need please can you tell me im getting it over the weekend.
What you need is a wireless router ($40 -$50). If your firmware is 1.5 you can get one that has 802.11b support. If you have higher than 1.5 you can get one that support 802.11g. Some of the newer ones have support for both. Happy hunting :)

can I use a BELKIN N Wireless Adapter to perform this?
Dariusc123456 3 years ago
You might be able to, depends if the drivers supports running as a Access Point.
BliteKnight 3 years ago
If it can use Ad Hoc mode, it can perform this.
Dariusc123456 3 years ago
Well, from what I hear - if you connect a PSP in Ad-Hoc mode, it won't go online as this mode is just for connecting one PSP to another.

do you need any thing to plug in or any thing to buy to get the internet on it.
cartmanha 5 years ago
nope, if your firmware (brain of your PSP) is 1.5 then you would have to get a homebrew (non offical software) browser to get online.
If you have a 2.0 or higher(i believe) it comes with a web browser that works really well.
