@mmbroo011 cats do the same with their kittens, you can pick up your cat like that also and it doesn't hurt them, it actually releases endorphans into their bloodstream and calms them down, which is why her feet immediately tucked up and her tail tucked up as well, my cat does that also, but i only pick her up like that if she's snuck outside so i don't hurt her trying to catch her. I just pick her up by the scruff

You know at 3:23-3:27 you can tell which lion is the better parent and in my case it's simba becuase he picks her up by the scuff which is a loose bit of fur and skin whereas zira bites him by the sides which could serious damage him if she bites too hard.

The shot with Simba looking up at the sky with pride rock in the background is like a reference to the original lion king, when Mufasa told Simba the same thing when he was just a cub. Simba now understands what Mufasa was trying to tell him so long ago *nostalgic moment = pondering frown* That's why he looks at Kiara and smiles, because he knows that Kiara is now experiencing what he did.
