  • How can it be sturdy if it jiggles? lol

  • @Tanis350 because it's designed to "jiggle" without breaking, making in sturdy in its own sense

  • Does anyone know if these are leagal in Tennessee?

  • We have these generic batons as well as a step up in quality batons from United Cutlery.

If you want law enforcement grade batons we have ASP and S&W in stock.

The ASP batons come in steel and aluminum with a variety of grips.

    All at defensedevicesdotcom.

  • Cavity search time...Well I've been looking into the market for a new self defense weapon other than knives, or brass knuckles so I'll check out the sight

  • lol was that a dildo?

  • @Xytos a POLICE dildo

  • do you ship to egypt?

  • the flexible one ain't worth shit...i carry a 16 inch and even that is underpowered for most applications..it requires accuracy and quick followup shots to be truly effective. the trade off is deep concealment. i've only used it once and i can say that after the first shot to the head, the best bet is to massacre the arms and bony prominences like hands, shins, anywhere. anyone can buy these although there are legalities involved.

  • can a 15 y'old kid buy one of these?

  • @staffpatrol Can you ship to the UK?

  • Are they hardened like ESP or ASP?

  • 26 inch the best onne :)

  • What are the advantages of short vs. long?

  • @iflyboats

Short = more maneuverable and faster, long have reach and power but slower.

  • ...

  • I liked the Dildo at the end.

  • @TheSexybeastish I though the same thing.

  • omg baton hurts like shit, i have being hit with baton its hurt so mutch

  • got the 21 inch its fuckin sick

  • @jjpds1 when its closed can it fit in your pocket easily?

  • What is the use for the flexible one?

  • ohh man, i'm going to get one of this after i almost got jumped today by two losers on bicycles. i wish i had this when they were surrounding me so i could beat the crap out of them with a steel baton...specially the 26inch baton. No use to call the cops, they took foreverrrrrr to get where i was.

  • i got the 16 inch, its realy easy to conceal:)

  • That spring one is inferior, if you're looking for a baton, get a baton. Possible rebound, lack of defensive attributes, and more lethality makes that a bad choice.

  • oh,is it made in Taiwan??i want to buy one but dont know what brand is good.can u show me?thanks

  • What is called "spring baton" is actually a "cosh", a flexible baton that potentially in "right" use depending on it´s size does a hell more damage than a rigid one (even broken bones etc.!)

in many european states NOT allowed

  • The last one looked like a dildo lmao

  • Do you ship to UK?

  • @eamongerrard No he won't. It's illegal and you won't be able to import one considering HM Rev. and Customs check all post.

  • that last baton was weird BUT how much for the first three types of batons?

  • how long is shipping?

  • how long do you think it will be until it gets here?

  • u have a web page? where i can buy these?

  • i want the big one!

  • cool, how long do you think it would take to get here?

  • do you ship to canada?

  • Yes, products are shipped to Canada

  • @staffpatrol Due to the whip like action of the baton, these are PROHIBITED in Canada and WILL be kept by Customs.

Save yourself the trouble and do not sell to Canadian clients. Google search "Knife laws canada" and you'll see the "Theatreontario" link with the govt. PDF.

They're called "Steel Cobra" and listed at teh end of the Document.

  • @staffpatrol

isn't the kiyoga baton (spring baton) illegal in Canada?

  • @staffpatrol if you ship to canada will shipping laws prohibit the weapon from crossing the border?

  • @staffpatrol Are these legal iin canada? if they are holy shit i,ll be so happy those are soo c00l then i can throw away my gay nun chucks

  • @dirtydirtyschoolgirl Keep in mind that a spring baton like that one is illegal to possess in Canada.

  • @dirtydirtyschoolgirl

are these legal in canada? or are you law-enforcement/ something similar?

  • Best Baton presentation on Youtube-the last one is really dangerous o.0

  • hi i was going to buy the 21" baton of your website i as just wondering do you ship to the uk and how long will it take

  • are ther e 18 inch batons and how much do they usally cost?

  • im sure theres a longer an even longer one than the 26 inch one or is that just a fixed baton?

  • We sell a 29" and a special order 31" version. We also have the tonfa style batons.

  • @staffpatrol can i get a 31 inch baton? do you have a website??

  • Hi I was wondering, are there any sort of tricks to retract the baton again without scraping/edging/wrecking the tip by smashing it into concrete?

  • You can tap the baton a few times more gently to collapse it. You can also tap the end on carpet or a door mat without scratching the tip. Even a wooden surface would word well.

  • @Viktuh333 yes buy a modnandnock autolock!just press the button to retract!

  • its funny that the guy says the last one is "very surdy" even though it flops around...

  • @misaluvakatsa The end piece is made of solid steel. That's what he meant by very sturdy. It's designed to flop around to maximize momentum.

  • The spring is very sturdy, not rigid. The design allows for flexible defensive moves and the batons construction is very durable.

  • The construction and materials are very sturdy. They are not referring to the flexible action of the baton.

  • @staffpatrol Can an average citizen buy these deffense weapons or just for enforcement and private businesses? if so, whats your website?

  • 0:50

that caught me by surprise. I started laughing so hard xD

  • i was thinking about purchasing one of these and i just have a few quick questions: 1. the mechanism that locks it in place, can that be damaged from the force of impact against the assailant? 2. the closing system (tapping it against the ground) can a hit similar to that sort of tap cause it to collapse? if so, how does said 'ground tap' mechanism work? 3. are these legal in self-defense? thanks for your time! hope to hear back from you soon!

  • Hi just wondering would you send asp batons to the uk. or do you only sell to the police services ect

  • If you live in a country where batons are illegal for citizens. You can try a mini baseball bat.

  • Haha, dunno how he got one here in Aus, but i got chased by some nutcase who had one of those.

  • Maybe he was a police officer....

  • hi wondering if you can help me i bought one of these from your website 21" one when i flick it out it doesent lock in strong it falls down and when i close it , its very hard to flick out just wondering if these batons need to be oiled or somthing?

  • Expanding batons that use a friction lock system need a firm swing for them to lock firmly in place. This is the case with any friction lock baton. A casual swing may extend the baton, but will not lock it in place. Oil is not necessary for the batons.

  • do you offer to sell any? i am interested the in the 26"

  • How big is the 26'' folded up?

  • The 26" closes to 10", the 21" closes to 8.5", and the 16" closes to 6.5"

  • Are these legal to carry in Colorado , Texas, or Maine?

  • how to collapse the baton after we extend it?

  • You simply tap the end on the ground and the baton closes,

  • whats the spring one made out of? seems pretty fragile.

  • The spring is made from a high tensile strength steel. It is very strong absorbs much of the recoil if hitting a hard object.

  • those sprig ones hurt like a son of a bich my freind has one and he bet me 20 bucks for him to hit me with it.

    SO NOT WORTH IT!

  • That is very rare with our batons. They use a friction locking system and lock very tight with a firm flick of the wrist. It may be that you are not using a strong enough swing when opening the baton. Please let us know how we can help if that does not fix the problem.

  • i want an electric expandable baton

  • @dadat45: Just so you know its illegal to carry this in the streets! Sure you know this though!

  • i just bought one of there (i think the same brand) but i cant close it.. i feel like a loser for being unable to do so lol

    help!

  • To disengage the positive locking system, simply tap the tip of the baton straight down on a hard surface such as concrete or brick. You may need to tap firmly once or twice depending on how hard you flicked your wrist to open the unit. Once the joints have released, the segments will push down and lock into the handle.

  • Lol the last one kinda got me at surprise.

  • Staff Patrol is now offering a free expanding baton booklet with defensive techniques using the baton. It is a great instruction manual and covers many topics on the effective uses of a baton.

  • i live in england and wanna know if ay you lot ave bought one coz i wanna buy one, dunno what website to trust.

  • i want to buy 1 too but they're illegal here aren't they so they're hard to get a hold of and most overseas website wouldn't ship to england.

  • Yes, they are shipped to the UK. However, there is a form that you must email back stating you have the right to order the item. Shipping time is approximately 7 days.

  • ok what form is it?

  • modelearth did you buy one of these batons ??

  • no..im english and live in the uk. i would love one but our ridiculous laws prohibit me.

and YET i can carry a maglite 6d around with me which is 19 inches and thats fine.

    the law is messed up.

  • What? Ridicolous laws. You fucking nob. Why do you think we have so much less weapon and gun crime then America. You would rather have lots of young people shot dead and murdered just so you can have a gun to make yourself feel manly?

  • Another uneducated person assuming that legalised guns must mean more gun crime.

  • You fucking nob. Uneducated? Lets see if your brain can calculate this. Less guns, less crime. Retard.

  • Would you care to explain why then, in countries where guns are restricted, have more crime than those with legalised guns? Every single study has supported the fact that legalised guns = less crime. A criminal will get a gun either way. The only difference is that with legalised guns, you can defend yourself.

  • that's not true countries with higher gun ownership rates typically have lower crime levels comparatively

  • Bullshit? Wake up, criminals will ALWAYS have GUNS! Even if guns are completely outlawed. By adding more gun laws you just hurt law abiding citizens and make them prey for armed thugs. If more law abiding citizens carried guns, criminals would be less inclined to attack the average citizen for fear of being shot by a bystander. That's why we need more law enforcement and prisons and not added gun laws. We just need to better enforce what we have on the books already.

  • @crv423

The heavier the "good guys" arm themselves, the heavier the "bad guys" will arm themselves. Society needs morals, not retaliation/counter retaliation. I'm probably with you on the gun law thing and think that everyone should have the rights to have guns. But guns should be regulated in that the authorities know who has what and how many so people don't just buy a bunch at big 5 and export them to fan the flames in mexico or some other country.

  • @factionxvt408x You go spread the morals, in the meantime we "good guys" get bigger weapons to defend ourselves from the "bad guys", good luck,

  • @crv423 AMEN!!!

  • @crv423 thats why canadas murder rate is so high right?

  • its true. look at switzerland. gun laws only keep guns from law abiding citizens, criminals will always find ways to get weapons

  • @Jacko459 it is illegal in Russia to have a personal gun, compare to US where it is legal, the level of crime is lower.

  • umm, look it up. you're wrong

  • @chrisliowknicksfan Fuck off jesus christ i really dont give a shit. Thats such an old comment I cant belive everyones replying jesus just fuck off youtubes so goddamn annoying.

  • If you make guns illegal. Criminals will get it any ways. You are only hurting the law abiding citizens.

  • The form is accepted during checkout and explains the rules for shipping. A copy will be included in the package.

  • can i ask what does the form contain of ?

  • same question as streakofblue but how bout ontario canada

  • Yes, they are shipped to Canada Shipping time is approximately 7-10 days depending on your area.

  • is this legal to own in cali?

  • Yes they are.

  • thanks, another question what about the pr-24 fixed length type batons?

  • oh sorry also forgot to ask, the batons on your website, are they made by a company called shrade?

cause they look strikingly similiar especially the diamond grip and carrying case

  • in some Countries the Expandable Baton is illegal to carry around unless ur a police officer coz it can be quite a lethgel weapon even tho it is ment to be used as a self defence weapon

  • Yes, we offer ASP batons. But we accommodate different needs and prices to serve a wider range of customers. We offer ASP, Monadnock, Triple K, and Casco, as well as our own manufactured brand. These are available in friction or mechanical locks and come in various lengths and strengths. You may always contact us for advice that will suit your needs.

  • are these baton legal to own in michigan?

  • Yes they are.

  • will you ship to the UK?

  • what do you mean there is a form that you must email back stating you have the right to order this item ??

  • are they asp batons?

  • No you can tell by the grip and ASP doesn't make a flexible baton.

  • Yes, we offer ASP batons. But we accommodate different needs and prices to serve a wider range of customers. We offer ASP, Monadnock, Triple K, and Casco, as well as our own manufactured brand. • The baton closes easily by tapping the end a few times straight down on any hard surface.
