Cavity search time...Well I've been looking into the market for a new self defense weapon other than knives, or brass knuckles so I'll check out the sight
the flexible one ain't worth shit...i carry a 16 inch and even that is underpowered for most applications..it requires accuracy and quick followup shots to be truly effective. the trade off is deep concealment. i've only used it once and i can say that after the first shot to the head, the best bet is to massacre the arms and bony prominences like hands, shins, anywhere. anyone can buy these although there are legalities involved.
HI I ORDERED 6 ITEMS FROM YOUR WEBSITE LAST WEEK AND I GOT A THANK YOU EMAIL FOR THE ORDERS. BUT I NEVER GOT A CONFIRMATION NUMBER OR A TRACKING NUMBER AND EVERY TIME I CALL AND EVEN LEFT A MESSAGE NO ONE GIVES ME A RESPONSE. SO WHATS GOING ON WITH MY ORDERS?????
@johnlvs2run I think you can murder dogs with this weapon. but then again you wont be using it as the police will be beating the shit out of you with them for doing just that, beating dogs
ohh man, i'm going to get one of this after i almost got jumped today by two losers on bicycles. i wish i had this when they were surrounding me so i could beat the crap out of them with a steel baton...specially the 26inch baton. No use to call the cops, they took foreverrrrrr to get where i was.
That spring one is inferior, if you're looking for a baton, get a baton. Possible rebound, lack of defensive attributes, and more lethality makes that a bad choice.
What is called "spring baton" is actually a "cosh", a flexible baton that potentially in "right" use depending on it´s size does a hell more damage than a rigid one (even broken bones etc.!)
@staffpatrol Due to the whip like action of the baton, these are PROHIBITED in Canada and WILL be kept by Customs.
Save yourself the trouble and do not sell to Canadian clients. Google search "Knife laws canada" and you'll see the "Theatreontario" link with the govt. PDF.
They're called "Steel Cobra" and listed at teh end of the Document.
You can tap the baton a few times more gently to collapse it. You can also tap the end on carpet or a door mat without scratching the tip. Even a wooden surface would word well.
i was thinking about purchasing one of these and i just have a few quick questions: 1. the mechanism that locks it in place, can that be damaged from the force of impact against the assailant? 2. the closing system (tapping it against the ground) can a hit similar to that sort of tap cause it to collapse? if so, how does said 'ground tap' mechanism work? 3. are these legal in self-defense? thanks for your time! hope to hear back from you soon!
hi wondering if you can help me i bought one of these from your website 21" one when i flick it out it doesent lock in strong it falls down and when i close it , its very hard to flick out just wondering if these batons need to be oiled or somthing?
Expanding batons that use a friction lock system need a firm swing for them to lock firmly in place. This is the case with any friction lock baton. A casual swing may extend the baton, but will not lock it in place. Oil is not necessary for the batons.
That is very rare with our batons. They use a friction locking system and lock very tight with a firm flick of the wrist. It may be that you are not using a strong enough swing when opening the baton. Please let us know how we can help if that does not fix the problem.
To disengage the positive locking system, simply tap the tip of the baton straight down on a hard surface such as concrete or brick. You may need to tap firmly once or twice depending on how hard you flicked your wrist to open the unit. Once the joints have released, the segments will push down and lock into the handle.
Staff Patrol is now offering a free expanding baton booklet with defensive techniques using the baton. It is a great instruction manual and covers many topics on the effective uses of a baton.
Yes, they are shipped to the UK. However, there is a form that you must email back stating you have the right to order the item. Shipping time is approximately 7 days.
What? Ridicolous laws. You fucking nob. Why do you think we have so much less weapon and gun crime then America. You would rather have lots of young people shot dead and murdered just so you can have a gun to make yourself feel manly?
Would you care to explain why then, in countries where guns are restricted, have more crime than those with legalised guns? Every single study has supported the fact that legalised guns = less crime. A criminal will get a gun either way. The only difference is that with legalised guns, you can defend yourself.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Bullshit. You mean to say, a country where some gangster or someone planning to murder or steal can go out and buy a gun no questions asked. Has less gun crime then a country with laws against it? Right.
Bullshit? Wake up, criminals will ALWAYS have GUNS! Even if guns are completely outlawed. By adding more gun laws you just hurt law abiding citizens and make them prey for armed thugs. If more law abiding citizens carried guns, criminals would be less inclined to attack the average citizen for fear of being shot by a bystander. That's why we need more law enforcement and prisons and not added gun laws. We just need to better enforce what we have on the books already.
The heavier the "good guys" arm themselves, the heavier the "bad guys" will arm themselves. Society needs morals, not retaliation/counter retaliation. I'm probably with you on the gun law thing and think that everyone should have the rights to have guns. But guns should be regulated in that the authorities know who has what and how many so people don't just buy a bunch at big 5 and export them to fan the flames in mexico or some other country.

I can't understand how these could be generally effective. They tend to rely on someone hitting a particular pressure point on the body.
People have been struck with "normal" solid batons, with little effect. So what effect is a hollow extendible baton going to have? Even less!

The spring is very sturdy, not rigid. The design allows for flexible defensive moves and the batons construction is very durable.
