i got a 01 ZO6 with intake, full exhaust, tune and a 300hp shot on hand. i will kill stock ZR1s all day with just 150 jet. i love my ZO6 nothing even comes close to it on the street.
the 01 was the first year of the LS6. Its fuel system and stock bottom end wont hold a 300 shot. Regardless of tune. 150, sure, but not a 300. You made 385hp stock, so even with intake, headers, catback and tune, your looking at about 450hp MAX! Add your 150 to that, and your fuel system is maxed out. I would invest in LS1Edit to check your injectors, make sure they are not over 90%. Otherwise, a BOOM is in your future!
and the vette should win. it costs double what the supra would even with the little tuning the one in the vid had. if you spent as much on the supra and you did on the vette, you'd have a 1200+hp supra. Id like to see the vette try it then
that was a C5 ZO6 you can pick up a 03 for like 20k and high 11 to mid 12s stock. the supra on the other hand 35k for used 98 TT? and stock mid 13s? give me the vitte with $600 nitrous kit any day.
Corvette stock would run along Supra stock. I got (well now my bro) a Grand Sport 1996 and when I had it I use to race stock Turbo Supra's all the time and it was pretty much a tie, he wins one i win one but not by much. But this is Z06 on NOS and Supra supped up 600hp.
The corvette is a better car take that ricers cheaper to buy too a 98 costing people 40000 ridiculous.
