Sadly, what will happen is a large percentage of homes that are struggling to make ends meet will opt to not pay the extra fee. Thus sites like you-tube will slowly lose their profitability. The truly sad part is that while cable-companies are seeing dollar signs, this will actually negatively impact the economy. What a waste; its been difficult enough already to make .coms profitable.

Today's rules are a half measure which will please no one and cause greater centralization and monopolization of internet and cable television. Mr. McDowell, on the other hand, is claiming that he does not have the authority which congress gave him as FCC Commissioner. He should be dismissed.

Does anyone realize that the video quality of this very important cast is poor on purpose? Furthermore, I've been watching this video for six hours and it has continued to have it's You-Tube views deleted over and over today. I am outraged at the blatant corruption involved by multiple parties taking away our freedoms minute by minute. This is the peoples access to free speech and freedom and it should not be edited for corporate profits who already abuse their powers.
