nice demonstration, but more time consuming,exposes to more surgeon's strain and inadvert inguries, and umbilical hernia.

i think the benifits are not worth, additional 3 mm incision can be done without visible scar.

Sounds like you may have had a regular lap chole, not a sils version

good video, i had this surgery 1 month ago, i have three scars after it, one scar under the nevel n it's vertical (like 1 cm), the other two: one in the side of the gall bladder (horizontal, 1cm) n the other by the start of the stomach (horizontal, 1 cm), they say they r not visible scars, but they are! :(

im about to undergo a laporoscopic surgery in two weeks. now that i've watched this video i think im going to faint.

The upper clip to the cystic duct stump appeared insecure to me but the lower one can take care of the problem i think.

this video is edited to fit on youtube, we agree the top clip was not satisfactory, and endo loop was inserted and sinched down to add extra security, it was down one handed but was very easy to lasso the stump. thanks
