Johnny can do such excellent backing vocals. Since he left, they use a backing track live for the vocals, which is fine. It's just backing vocals, everything else is live. But johnny had a great range for the high harmonies.

Anyone have a link to a post 92' interview with Blackie talking about Johnny Rod? Always wondered what he thought about him and why exactly he left the band (heard a lot of different reasons). Really liked Johnny Rod's personality, bass playing, and voice! Any other bands he's in too?

Hey there.. I think I read that interview. All I remember is that Blackie thought he was one hell of a musician and bass player. He left to basically get outta the biz and went into some sort of medical career which is on his wiki and then onto some sort of masonry work or something. I recently found out however that King Kobra has started back up and Johnny Rod is back on bass. Check out King Kobra's new myspace. Hope this helps. Here's to WASP!
