You need you be out of the camera view when you do the cromma  capture.

Mac has a REALLY good screen recorder called ScreenFlow, why don't you get it and make a vid of it :)

It costs money =\ I don't like spending more money on my $1600 Mac :P

EXCEPT of course for upgrades like Snow Leopard.

Snow Leopard will include QuickTime X, which will let you screen record :D
