  • A rare moment of honesty by libtards

  • Dr. Laura was getting in trouble even back then (ha ha ha). This woman is not to be trusted or maybe I'm wrong. But I doubt it.

  • I hope Bill is ashamed about his old ignorant views on the "left."

  • @mmeditatio He has grown a lot since then. Now, he is an extremely astute commentator.

  • The blond tramp is a retard.

  • What a coarse comment: "Is it in yet?" Tammy Bruce is a vulgar woman.

  • @gulshabbo God forbid someone talk about what created you, fucking is not vulgar, it is life giving, not to mention fun :)!

  • @TheDogs0fwar I am no prude, but her comment was pointless, immature, and needlessly crass. If the 9/11 terrorists had acted out of jealousy and sexual frustration, they would have attacked Sweden as well. Tammy Bruce is completely ignorant of the Muslim world.

  • @gulshabbo What can you expect from a moron? hahaha.

  • They hate us for our freedom... Yeah keep telling yourself that while your government assassinates foreign leaders, imposes crippling sanctions and interferes in the politics of Earth's thrid world countries.

  • I hate to say folks its an endless battle.

Ultimate freedom is about as much a hell as Ultimate Security. You need to lose some freedoms for security. I prefer a happy medium.

  • spoken like a true slave

  • Rather spoken like someone who values both freedom and security alike - I have never heard anyone, no matter how far-left they have been, say that they have absolutely no use for security and order.

I consider myself to be pretty libertarian, which is more or less in between both wings, and I always find it astonishing how both far-left and far-right disregard lots of issues with their black-and-white approach.

  • heh thats because people like me transcend the scale of left and right

In fact to people like me it doesnt exist - its only an illusion

The truth is that when people have evolved from thier primitive state concepts such as freedom and securtiy will dissolve in the blissfull omnipresence of both in other words no one will have a stance on freedom and securtiy nor will it be a topic of discussion once we have evolved because it will be first (not even second) nature us

  • also absolute freedom is absolute securtiy

giving away freedom for security is paradoxical because if you give away your freedom you are at the same time giving away your securtiy seeing as how you would be vunerable to whoever you gave some of your freedom to

that is what exactly what ben franklin meant in his quote

  • While a lot of that definitely holds true, the illusion of anarchy is that there exists no incentive for other people to harm you.

Today, the ideas of "left and right wing" are no longer 100% applicable, so thinking outside that scope is generally a good idea. However, there still exist tensions towards the political left and right, mainly motivated by a different view of the human being and it's place in every possible society.

  • You know not what you say by implying that anarchy is illusory you are at the same time implying that at some degree someone has the moral RIGHT to exert control over another simply because he has decided what is best for the other

Also the left and right is 100 % illusory I repeat the scale is an illusion there is no left and right - what seems right to one side seems wrong to the other its just a matter of equal but opposite perceptions only through the AMORAL can you see truth

  • While I find the right too distrustful and focussing on man's darker traits, the left is too lenient and blindfolded from the consequences of letting everyone run wild.

Libertarianism, imho, is the only logical approach to the issue, because I agree with you on one specific thing: We evolve and subsequently need other "layouts", if you will, of society.

  • I do think that it's time for another revolution, much like the transition from monarchy to democracy in 18th century Europe, simply because we have evolved past a certain stage. But abolishing established structures altogether is something that we might consider only in a few more centuries.

Now is the time for a government "as extensive as necessary, and as limited as possible".

  • If today we had anarchy there would be aggressive reptillian minded pscho's hurting others and causing misery to those less aggressive and physically powerful. But at the same time any society other than anarchy can only FURTHER ACTIVATE the reptillian brain in these people seeing as how any society other than anarchy (no matter how you hard you try to justifiy them) sustains itself on reptillian minded individuals heiarchy, aggression, slavish conformance, pack mentality, excess etc

  • So basically the bottom line is:

Continue with our unjust governments, which further turns us into one giant conglomerate of assholes, or let everyone loose on each other - people who are already so screwed up that their reptilian brain has taken control of them.

    TL;DR: Either way, we're fucked.

I appreciate your engaging in the discussion with us, and I respect your point of view. But while I DO believe that we're pretty screwed, I don't think we're THAT screwed yet.

  • i see two solutions we either stop digging a deeper grave by living in a non-anarchistic society and deal with the consequences of our ignorance which we are brought on our selves by perpetuating this situation with ignorance - the consequences being living amongst and surviving the psychotic masses that were locked in prison and hardened OR we simply keep the societies we have and wait for the outer space calvary to arrive and take control of the situation or maybe theres a solu im not sein

  • Well why dont you think we're that screwed yet seeing as how you've just outlined the situation perfectly

"one giant conglomerate of assholes" and i would have added "who will one day have to be set free" were just digging a deeper grave by extending the presence of these societies and at the same time making these people EVEN MORE psychotic i'll take my chances with thier current state but to continue down this road, which will inevitably come to an end, is highly unwise

  • First we have to define freedom. Is freedom the ability to do something or go somewhere? Or is it the ability to do those things without anyone else knowing?

If you fly commercially, I could make the argument that, even before 9/11, that you didn't have the freedom to fly because someone needed to know your name, where you're going, you had to check in personally, they needed to know how much luggage you had, which luggage was yours, inspect your luggage contents, you had a designated seat, etc

  • Conway is a moron lol

  • people in reasonable educations should not talk about god.. it's insulting to the word EDUCATION..

you are not educated if you talk about believing in the existence of a god as defined by the major dogma's

  • God is a Fag.

  • @blackrainuponus He is also a pervert

  • It's okay, Billy. She's not contagious.:-)

  • I think he was just making a joke

  • This issue of thought police surpasses all others imo. The TRUE problems in this country will never be solved until ppl can speak frankly and w/o fear..

I'm a teacher and in my teaching classes in college I had an extreme liberal professor who said it was his duty to report any of us who voiced opinions that were not politically correct; threatening, in essence, our certification. I was fairly liberal at the time, but today I'd walk out of that class and report him (not that it'd do any good)

  • that doesnt sound like liberalism... that sounds like fascism. blind tolerance to everything is just repressing an individuals ability to express him or herself. in my book it can even be a racist or hateful, free speech is free speech. i do however expect people to own up to what they say and be ready for the possible (and hopefully only verbal) consequences it may have.

  • @WarRogers it seems that some college professors can be judgemental and put there values on you.this happened to me also.the college setting is fertile ground for those sentiments and your moral compass is the-accept or reject thought.in college you can always go in any direction you want so broom these small minded people
