I own one of these and with the SPB 3.5 Shell, this thing is awesome. It`s basically a mini-computer that`s also a phone and other things as well :-)

It's a pre-production model, not all the bugs have been ironed out.

Sony are bein very innovative at the moment, Aino/Satio/Yari, Vaio P, 360 3D display, Xperia, etc.

Never knock prototypes or pre-production models, they're not finished yet.

Owned two Xperia X1i and X1a phones. Both were absolute junks. Sony tried to repair again and again, nothing but run around for months. Worst of all, both units were defective right of the box. Don't buy just for looks of phone, this is a high tech money making scam by Sony & Ericsson.

how u can use gps without data plan coz nokia is the only company providin ovi maps to use the mobile offline but sony is not providin any such service so in case u need to find the route it's required to download the map which can be done on data plan only so can u pls put some light on that too :)

@hanrickjones using GPS is free, WIndows Mobile offers many free GPS applications such as NaviComputer and you can easily crack TomTom for WIndows Mobile.

All in all though your better off selling this device, it's WinMo but mostly SlowMo. I have it, and I wish I didn't have it.
