Well clear receiver i think it suitable for any one who want to put it in the glass box side by side with the wood style receiver so people can see the operation system.

But why they not made a clear magz too for clear receiver...

receiver is the metal part where the bolt mechanism is. The clear part is the Body..... Why do you want to paint the receiver again?

@Conan117117 actually we dont, im dont use mine in regular airsoft tournaments since the only field Indiana has is a CQB field, and this bad boy in CQB is a BAD idea, not just for the player, but the people who get shot by it. It comes with an orange tip but u can also use a regular metal flashhider for it if u dont use it in standard matches, thats what i do in the woods behind my house(it is so fun to snipe people from trees with this u shud try it)

I doubt a GBBR would make a good sniper platform. It's too unstable. Still, looks amazingly cool!

I don't own one myself but I work at an airsoft shop at which they have some. I tested some and from my experience, they don't have what it takes to be a ''sniper rifle'' unless they are rigged to an external air supply, have a tightbore and a good hop-up (like nhl4471 said). Since all of those upgrades cost a lot, making a sniper rifle from a GBBR isn't something anyone can afford. Since most stock GBBR suffer from cooldown, their consistency is low, especially in cold weather.
