Well,the main reason is that as violinists cannot have the nails long..usually theypaint long nails,but why not shorts!

@82224561 -- so much interest in my nails, lol...i was going to a christmas party and did paint them, but my teacher would refuse to teach if i ever showed up for a lesson with nail polish...but he was away for the holidays and maybe i did take a little advantage :)

Nice to see you finally doing some of the work instead of letting your brother handle all of it! :) I really enjoyed both pieces this week. On an unrelated note, do you have any suggestions for easy pieces with a gypsy sound? I'm still only playing in first position but I would like to try that style of music. Thanks!

@vittorioe -- well, my brother has totally more time than i do, lol, so i have been taking a bit of advantage. let me think about a gypsy piece...most of the ones i know would require more positions.

@eboyinc Apparently all gypsies are born with an innate ability to play the violin well...they have no use for beginner songs. :)
