@ShelbyMustang456789 That must have been excessivley and some would say unjustifiably expensive! Why didn't he just buy an STI in the first place? Mine produces at the crank: 563 horses at stage one boost (10psi) and at stage 2 a conservatively estimated 710 horses (at 16psi from an EZ36R biturbo which is on the bench as I type this getting forged internals)
@ShelbyMustang456789 Oh I see. Thats fair enough. I too had some friends who work in Scooby dealership who helped me out a little here and there. Otherwise STI parts are way too expensive at retail prices. Currently at 550 Horses with 840Nm it does 0-100Km/h in 3.7seconds 1/4mile est high 11seconds. With the low comp biturbo EZ36R under hood it'll reliably do 0-100Km/h approaching the 3.0 mark and est 1/4 mile high 10seconds hopefully. Lurv sleepers nobody kno the big horses until they drag you.
@DeMobBoss Wow 3 seconds, that is really impressive. I would say it is the perfect sleeper. I think nobody would expect that kind of Performanca in in a Subaru Liberty (in germany the are Called Legacy^^) do you have more videos of it?
@ShelbyMustang456789 Yes there are several videos of this car and more to come check out my channel. If you subscribe to my channel you will get notified of the latest ones when I post them. The latest is called the Bullit straight run.
I am pissed I got my 05 leggy with a 4 banger single turbo still quick but I wish they had the H6 twin turbo for our U.S. market. on the autocross i bet it kicks butt. spools super fast with the h6
Nice car, I have a 1998 GTB wagon but went into a performance specialist here in Auckland NZ asking about giving it more power or conversion to a single turbo, they said it will cost me alot but their advice was to buy a Legacy Sti and work on that as i wanted it to be a wagon! does this really exist and if so from what year are they available from and is it single turbo? please help me out before i spend alot for nothnig or go looking for something that don't exist! thanks
Never been a big fan of wagons despite the superior chasis characteristics. 'Each to their own' I guess. The car is still runnin' and more videos to come + low comp conversion still pending. patience patience, a virtue I certainly don't have... ;-)
Well in fact I was surprised how stealthy it still remains especially right now with no hood scoop and the muffled idle exhaust note; I've embarrassed a few unsuspecting 911s, M3s, a Honda 600cc Fireblade and other likely lads already.

Does it have the 4EAT/5EAT or is it a manual transmission? Oh, and Subaru flat-6 sounds sweet!

Its a 6 speed manual STI gearbox the only box strong enough to handle this kind of tuning and power.

If it were a wagon it would be my dream car - the ultimate sleeper...
Hopefully the car is still running and we'll get to see some more of it...

I think a turbo H6 is the only car that sounds better than a 2J.

Six cylinder STI is only available in Japan. This example was custom built here in Australia to the Japanese specification.
