expression went from being one of the best battle crews in korea to becoming a pure show crew.... I really hate that about them. They have a lot of extremely talented bboy's that i loved to watch battle (ie: bboy sick, tachyon, woo-sung) that are now just doing dance shows around the world.
even tho the talent is there, this crew means nothing to me now. Its crews like rivers, drifterz, gamblers, last4one that stuck to the true nature of bboying and battling that I truely respect.
yo just so you know expression broke up and some of their members went on to crews like rivers or drifterz and those other crews you 'respect'. So do a little research and so what - they chose to be more of a show crew, respect them for what they can do because they're still kick ass at bboying

The person who posted this, is probably not from Expressions Crew which is a Korean bboy team, that has won world competitions as champions, first place against countries like Japan, France, the U.S., South Africa, etc.
I don't know how close to the beginning you want, but I know that someone was sampling the song, "California Dreamin'", which was a hit for the band The Mamas and the Papas back in the 1960's.
