  • I love watching Theo laugh at Obie in the beginning when he marches around the stage he shakes his head as if to say where does this old guy get all this enegry....lmao

  • The best...

  • this is in 1999- levi was ill in 2000and left group-

  • It is from Japan.

    Can you watch them now?

Possibility wants you to show the place

  • fabulous.... what a concert ! what a song.... history !

  • I just hope when Duke dies, there are no more 'Four Tops' groups. Tributes are okay as long as the promoter says so.

  • thank you 4 tops-originals/for giving me46 years of listening enjoyment and memories. duke this is for y ou sinceyou are thelast 4 tops original- but i listen to themusic from1965 to 1975 everyday, wish i could tell levi what his singingdid for mein 46 years- rest in peace andloveto all the families ofth e4 tops.

  • levi hasnt been onstage since2000-hewas too ill.

  • there's no way this was from 2004. I found a photo of Levi from 2004 and by then he had been wheelchair bound after suffering a few strokes after 2000. Everywhere says he retired from live performing after his strokes and cancer which had started in 1995. This must've been recorded before 1995. He also still looked quite young (late 50's). Amazing performance anyways. Even when he appeared in the mid-2000's with Aretha in a wheelchair his voice was still AMAZING!! what a loss!! TALENT :-)

  • @mikemacjunkie1 lawence jpayton died in 1997 so this has to be after 1997= i think1999.

  • @mikemacjunkie1 -payton died 1997-this hasto be1998 or 1999- thanks

  • God bless Levi

  • the greatest show in the lv hilton! the lighting by debbie was fantastic! tremendous magic! what a band!

  • Levi Stubbs, probably the greatest of the greats. I loved this group.

  • Music still sounds real good.... great stuff

  • simply TALENT

  • To think we only had Levi three more short years before the Lord called him home. Think about this: He was nearly 70 years old when this was recorded in 2004, and he sounds almost as good as he did during the Motown 25 celebration 20 years earlier. Like mumra715 said below, today's so-called talent will never reach such power as these guys had. G-d Bless you Levi, we are less without you.

  • The lyrics...simplistic, but a work of genius! 200 years from now people will be enjoying this.

  • look at this , do you feel some resemblance

    you tube com /watch?v=_IpxDL4BmVQ

  • Bass player is NASTY!! anyone know who that is?

  • this is 1999 or early 2000 but at all 2004, levi had already had his stroke at the end of 2000 or 2004

  • @MrLevistubbs

Thanks for the dates. I've only this week got nostalgic ? enuf to look them up and was looking for dates on these performances.. It's frightning how time goes - and bit by bit yer old World disappears. Wonderful to hear them again - and at such a later date.

    Thankyoutube !

  • negros fantasticos , fantastic black man

  • ..XX..FANTASTIC..XX..

  • They sound great! Just like I remember them sounding when I was a kid and these songs were new! Icons of that Era. Awesome!

  • Levi looks so skinny and sick in this video, but his voice is still gorgeous...

  • cancer

  • motown siempre será lo mejor de lo mejor

  • cheers adam for posting this classic !! many thanks, ken

  • Reminds me of my childhood

  • always loved this song-so relaxing

  • i love this song

  • Best band ever no contest! can you imagine nsync or the backstreet boys rocking like this?? No way, these guys had pure talent, no lipsyncking crap and voice altered by recording studios. LONG LIVE THE FOUR TOPS!!!

  • These guys could take any of the artists of this generation to the real school!!!

  • you done good, Levi... rest now....we'll keep it alive in the music!

  • This guy was all business and a whole lotta love. An American original. I did not know that Levy was performing with such gusto up till 2004. This must be one of the last times he, Duke and Obie went at it live together. God bless them all. RIP Levy, Obie and Lawrence.

  • Correction, to the information posted: this concert was actually recorded around 1999, recently after Theo Peoples joined the Four Tops.

This would be one of Levi's last performances. He had retired by 2000.

  • @NYVoice Today, only Duke Fakir remains of the original Four Tops.

  • r.i.p levi stubbs..Motown's best

  • my god levi stubbs still rocks.... but there is one new member...one died i think a couple of years ago...

  • The audience participation was farcical. He pointed the mic at them telling them; "I can't hear you!" and absolutely nothing returns.

  • I love Obie's little solo starting at 1:45!

  • Obie was my favourite Top a real entertainer and a very sweet man

  • How can this be from 2004 when levi left the group in 2000? just wondering.

  • listen to that band they are awsome

  • Bravo! Bravo! Merci pour ce monument de la Soul Music. Jipé

  • Levi you are the best ! I love you and miss you !

  • Ah so good to Levi Stubbs with theo also! Great video thanks x
