  • for netbook i highly say " don't put alot of program on it will run slow. Even a defragmenting it it help a bit but, i say it will still run slow. My advice is web site geek.com , amazon , tiger direct , ebay , or direcy buying from China.

  • i maybe to 2 years late lol. Good thing is black friday coming up. the recent intel atom are Z550 2.0 ghz single core with a back up single core that is only use when it need more power. The back up is 1.2 ghz .

  • I don't know anything about portal. It depend on the requirement of the game. If it a basic gaming like runescape, tales of priates or maplestory it will run fine. The max gb ram you can install is 2 gb ram. Due to the low processor 1.6 ghz. the Intel atom N270 is one of the first intel atom is not the best. Knowing that is posted on 2008 it good in that time line. The video card you just said it a 224 mega video card. Am not sure about the frames.

  • Clearly that is a netbook. it decent for surfing the web. good thing about intel atom processor they have very low energy consumption you save energy on your energy bill. Acer is a good brand i have good experince with it. 2.5 hours clearly it a 3 cell battery lowest for battery. Try geeks.com is super cheap.

  • that's good for school only..

  • Someones review on the site said it doesn't have an optical drive which means you wouldn't be able to play discs (cd/dvd) I believe.

I have the pink Dell which I love. I would pay a little more to get that if you could. I know you can get discounts with schooling sometimes.

    Sorry not much help!

  • can you link me?
