@97Siren No idea. Haven't been down there to check. This recording was the only time I had ever been in downtown Tuttle.

@rhett443 I noticed Mustang didn't, we were in town right after the test and noticed the Meadows Thunderbolt, the Walgreens and Walmart Whelen, and the Del Rancho 2001 hadn't moved. but I didn't know OKC didn't either....weird.

Was it moving at all before it wound up?

@carexpertandy No it was not. I'm not completely familiar with how the T-128 rotator works, so I couldn't diagnose the problem.

@dillonrockband Yeah but this is what we've seen from several ACA/ASC sirens with broken rotators

@dillonrockband I would imagine that because of the movement with the chopper motor that would have cause it to move.

@TheFiremansavage That's what I'm thinking. Or maybe some gear caught on at the beginning and didn't stay on, or the wind from the rotor pushed it along. It was a little breezy today, so it would have gone against that wind.

@dillonrockband It definitely looks like the torque from the motor caused it to start rotating. Once it slows down it returns to the original position :P
