yeah im getting austar now, never had it my entire life but my neighbours had galaxy, i wanted it so bad then austar came out and i never got to have that, now im old enough to get it myself so im getting it now!
I remember this, Pay TV in the 90's was the best. I remember when Austar used to be called 'Galaxy', there was no Fox8 or The Comedy Channel and TV1 on the decoder was 009, not 001.
I'd love to see some Australian Nick at Nite ads, as briefly shown in the video.
Yeah this was back from about that time I think. TV1 used to be pretty cool with Terrorvision on the weekends late at night, "Tales from the crypt", American Gothic. Remember the preview channel ?
We had 52 channel then if i remember correctly, not we got... i lost count, but hey, The same channels as I watched back in 2000 are they same I watch now, nothing has changed, the new channels are quite boring.
Yeah, thats right. I think it had more 'older' shows than Fox classics was showing as well. I seem to remember "The courtship of Eddie's father" was on it, not sure if it was ever on Fox classics.

I vaguely remember Austar being called something else, Ive only known tv1 to be on channel 1, so thats cool to know.

Nick @ Nite got dropped so they could concentrate on Kid shows. Some content moved to FOX Classics/TV1. Shame... I liked Flying Nun!
