    you gain weight when calorie expenditure does not exceed intake.. however, protein is different since protein that you dont use to repair etc. will just get shit out.

    yes... this video cant apply to me becuz any whey / soy protein powder ive used nromally gives me food poiseningeven if the stuff is not expired... but yes i buaght a bootleg at a super walmart they have theyre own (walmart) brand of blender... its only $20 its a bootleg version of the magic bullet it doesn't have all the attachments just 4 big cups and 1 tiny cup with the spinkler attachments (for grated cheese) and the rings to turn the cups into drinking cups.

  • This chick doesn't know the difference between 9 am and 9 pm. How am I going to trust her on anything else? Especially when that person is recommending to eat a bunch of carbohydrates before bed; at 9 am. Eat 5-10 grams of a slow release protein with a little bit of water before bed, at 9 pm.

  • Hmmm...this is too rich to drink at night. Too much energy producers (fat and sugar) for the night. As someone said, all you need is casein. I don't take Casein because I already drink milk and cheese. I have taken just regular ON whey before bed with a glass of skim milk. 12g sugar (lactose), 2g fat (from the protein) and 40 g protein (8g casein protein from milk). Great results I'm seeing. (BTW due to my schedule, I work out at night in gym before bed).

  • Not suppose to use Whey Protein before bed sweetie as Whey digests too quickly. A better alternative is Casein Protien which breaks down and digests a lot slower and is exactly what you need for 8 to 10 hours of sleep...

  • @askunique Special K is garbage food. Basically your eating sugar. And right before bed means your not burning it off either. Carbs and sugar are for morning when you need energy.

  • wtf fruit in a time release bed drink, this channel is truely the face of bad advice and info. She will be lucky if that drink lasts her 2hrs before she wakes up starving hungry.

    Casein blend protein + like two tea spoons of canola oil or a tea spoon of peanut butter and you will be good for like 6/7hrs.

  • She's a fucking idiot. Whey is digested so fast that in an hour it's turned into fat and if you add fruits to it it's even worse. THe whole point of before bed protein is to stop your body from muscle catabolism during the night and to boost your growth hormone production. To do that you have to avoid any sugars since they lead to insuline secration which is growth hormone antagonist and you have to eat some nice slow digesting protein like casein i.e. low fat cotage cheese.

  • Wouldn't you want something that dissolves slowly, instead of quickly. I've looked at creatine, which alot of people don't recommned, but this one is made by Optimum Nutrition, it's all natural, and it is slow dissolving, which they say is ideal for bed.

  • Its best to stay clear of carbs, the usual 2-3 hours.

    But for atheletes, bodybuilder, and people in general it good to have some slow digesting protein, like beef, chicken and eggs. The protein will stay in your system for most of the night and not starving your body.

    It basically the same idea as "Don't skip breakfast" as your trying to reduce the "fast" period. This will prevent your body to go into starve mode and then binge mode and store fat.
