put in was the great horse shoe bend on the shoalhaven river, accessed via bungonia.
pull out was tallowa dam.
there is also a put in at old timberlight, via nerriga rd. we done a few times, pretty rough going though. but well worth the extra 30 kms of river and another night in this awesome area of australia.
@hashticles I did this 3 times in the eighties, putting in each time at Sewell's Point (4 kms downstream of the upper timberlight track). (and in and out Big Horseshoe when we got smashed). It is a much shorter car shuffle via Sewell's. Is there any goss on access there these days? Last time we went, we chanced upon a guy who unlocked gates for us.

@MGoose66 the washing machine rapid, about 4 kms down stream of the great horse shoe bend...
a good camp spot on the right, before the rapid, is the ideal spot after the decent to the river for a swim and a cold beer....
