  • Those whales must have been confused as fuck when they beamed aboard the Bird of prey

  • It's a UFO.

  • The scene when the ship decloaks has got to be one of cinema's greatest "air punch" moments. Always brings a happy tear to my eye.

  • Live long and prosper George and Gracie.

  • 2:28 Suddenly--KLINGON BIRD-OF-PREY OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE!

  • They should have made the hunters Japanese. They're always bitching for the right to kill whales.

  • my favorite parts of this scene:

    *fires harpoon* DOING! *splash*

"what the heck?" (not sure what they really said)

the bird-of-prey decloaks (menacingly) and scares them witless

    *scotty beams the whales up*

    "...admiral, THERE BE WHALES HERE!"

  • Whose idea was put the finnish people as whale hunters?!?!?! O_o

  • How could they use warp speed while being "inside the planet"? At such speed, their ship should explode just by passing air, not to mention upper parts of atmosphere lol

I also presume their shield were down, they won't help much anyway even if they had them raised.... BOOM!

  • Did they seriously just go to warp in the lower atmosphere? o_O

  • @zeph0shade Haha, just noticed your comment. I also just said about that, yes it's impossible.

  • Those whales are just like "WTF?!"

  • lol, this is a romulan warbird noobs NOT a klingon bird of prey

  • @RandomCamGuy1 ur a noob for knowing that lol

  • @RandomCamGuy1 Nope. It's a Klingon ship. The Romulan Warbird has no neck, it's a completely different model. It's the same ship from Star Trek III. The name "Bird of Prey" comes because the ship in ST3 was supposed to be a Romulan ship in the early drafts, became a Klingon ship, but the name was retained.

  • What would have been nice is if the BoP had pulled it's wings cannons in and fired a few shots across the bow. The whalers getting hunted for a change.

  • Like Greenpeace could or would get a bird of prey, their tactics are simply begging and documenting, no action. If any conservation group was to get one, it would be Sea Shepherd.

  • @Airoceisis9

Greenpeace gets a spaceship, then becomes drunk on military power & corrupted..... ;-) Seriously - The whalers w / supposedly Finnish, & they supposedly AREN'T whalers now.

  • @Airoceisis9 Oh thats a bright idea. Give a Terrorist group a BOP

    Not very smart

  • @iceskater1983 If we were terrorists, we'd be in prison. It's just that simple. Cheers dumbass.

  • @Airoceisis9 What the sscs is doing is not with in the law!! It's not up to anyone to take action into there own hand's. And that make's the sscs a group of unlawful Terrorists!!! So that is Plan and Simple.... Get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @iceskater1983 We are not terrorists. Japanese whaling vessels have been denied refueling in certain ports. Our ships are not. We have the full support of Australia, the Dutch, and many more countries. The Japanese do not. So who are really the criminals and terrorists? We are acting in accordance with the United Nations World Charter for Nature which clearly states that any organization can take the law into their own hands to uphold the charter and laws. Please...get over it! :D

  • @Airoceisis9 Well hello again it's been yet another season, tell me how bad did you sscs terrorists fail this year? Are you still ramming ships and endangering life of both partys, are you guys still spreding false truths, still claming to be above the law, well i guess that dose not matter much sences the campaigns of greenpeace were successful this year. At least i can have the saticfaction of knowing what we (Greenpeace) do are lawful and very Legal. bye for now

  • @iceskater1983 Greenpeace maybe lawful and legal but what have you achieved by way of stopping the Japanese whaling fleet? It's not just about legal challenges and sending out mail. Its also about putting yourself in between the whalers and the whales and if that means putting yourself in danger then I'd do it.

  • @iceskater1983 actually they won their war this year the Japanese left months early and over 800 whales bellow quota. :P it may not be legal but neither are the actions of the whalers and if none of the governments will draw the line then the people have to.

  • @iceskater1983 What has Greenpeace ever done to stop whaling effectively. Tell me.

  • It would've been cooler if they fired a torpedo on that whaling ship. :-D

  • best scene of the movie....

    my favourite

  • "Admiral, there be whales!"

  • There was a video that is like this segment but there was 5 or so minutes before the start of this scene.
