Holy shit, you dont see that very often. Those lazy people at Maurizios Pizza in St Louis claim they have Ny Pizza. Not even close. This makes them look sad and sooooo St Loius, not NY.
People who perceive correctly will gladly pay $10 for a taco made with the same finesse and quality that Mr. DeMarco uses in his process. Notice your lack if subtlety in your tastes and social manner, jo. You may enjoy your tacobell, I will be in Oaxaca. Dominoes will deliver in 30 minutes or less, I will pass the time meeting great people, connecting with old friends, eating Gino's Italian ices in anticipation of the culinary equivalent of a Sistine Chapel on the corner of 15th and Av J
I'm with twidgefitch...ya get what ya pay for! I'd rather eat DiFara's once/month then the mediocre trash pizza you find the same all over the city every week...
seka1986, importing enough mozzarella di bufala for a single pie is gonna cost you $40. That's $5 a slice before you consider the flour, yeast, poolish, tomatoes, your fior-di-latte cheese, pecorino romano, and your parmegiano. Can't forget the imported EVOO, basil and oregano on the stem. Need not consider rent, eletricity (for a 6 deck oven) etc. Through economies of scale its only possible. Enjoy your $1 stuffed-crust slice at pizza hut. Let Dom make his masterpiece and be grateful to pay $5.
It's so expensive 'cause prices of ingredients are that much higher. I own Mario's Pizza and it's tough to duplicate Di Faras..not impossible though ..if you knead the dough ! Excellent Pizza master...Di Faras!
wow their pizza is so expensive today i ate a slice and it was 4 bucks lol i live like rite across the street from him theres 3 pizza stores in ave j and his taste sooo gud but its usually burnt
This guy's a freakin' ARTIST --! It took me a while to figure out he was actually grating the cheese when the clip first started. Awesome. Oh no -- my druel is getting into the keyboard....he's putting the pizza in the box --! more olive oil --! (this is a simultaneous comment) he's cutting it --! oh shit, this aint fair...the lid's closed....and over.

You can use the most expensive ingredients and the slice would still cost you $1 to make. Stop repeating what you hear without using your brain.
