caawl :D go wikipedia CuCl.. i think its a 'lewis acid' that means if its concentrated enough it will etch aluminium foil..

if its so low concentration that the water (yes the water) is LIGHT blue (cool too..) and you throw in aluminium foil it will form copper on :D its naiz

yap.. its pretty cool.. you can decide to have some iodine looking like water (brown, DARK brown.. kinda black in surface its brown) or some green liquid (kinda concentrated CuCl solution) or light blue (not so much concentrated) i found out it made a blue colour in the water when i had to wash it.. so i thought.. oh well lets see if reacts with aluminium as its an acid ^^ very interesting stuff.. nope.. just copper metal into HCl.. i dont think it can eat that much copper metal.. cuz theres still alot left.. :S some CuCl crystals even formed on the wires :P

anyways.. you should really try magnesium and baking POWDER... just a tiny little amount in and it will make a really bright orange flare light.. pack it in al foil for it will last a bit longer and well.. will last longer? :P i tape everything i do..
