  • jesus titty fucking christ

  • wankel need a coating of starlite (rexresearch . com / ward/ward.htm)

    (heat supressor)

  • I think I just came...

  • Hgarra0204 nope, these 20b's come with twin turbos, togeter te stock turbos make less than those individual bodies that let air flow in freely as the engine needs it so these engines last forever

  • Question... what are those tubes/pipes connected to the engine? I always wondered.

  • It's people like you that make me want to get into the Rotary game. Awesome work! NA is best! :D

  • this is by far my new favorite engine, now gotta get one for my mazda r100

  • nice, very nice

  • =O

  • I want this engine in my 323 XD

  • suck it v8's!!

  • they should have come from the factory like this !

  • The throttle response would be amazing on this! =D

  • i want my cosmo to sound like that and have the weight stripped on it to. but to bad mines only the 13b.

  • I have two questions. Is swapping a 20b in a miata a good idea? And where can I get ITB's for a 20b if I do the swap?

  • A 20b with ITB's thats amazing, the torque is like a hayubusa

  • This sound is music to my ears...there is no need for a radio or anything...just the sound of the engine and exhaust alone is to make someone fall in love with the rotary engine.

I noticed there is some sort of wrap around the UIM...Is that heat reflecting tape or actual fiberglass/ceramic wrap?

  • Oh yeah. Thats a A.R.P.R !

    ANGRY ROTARY POCKET ROCKET!!

That kind of brapbrap is so damn great dude. Keep up the cool vids!

  • Love it rotary power was is the horsepower on this beast please!

  • what yr is this and did they ever sell this in the states?

  • so little motor but such a great power :)

  • HOLY MOTHER OF FUCKING GOD!

  • Where can I get a Cosmo? I can't find one anywhere.

  • its 3/4ths 757B

  • thats loud!

  • not fuel efficient

  • I get 18 city and 23 hywy in an 87 rx7, and that is around diesel MPG, so they are about average. Same as our 3.8L van.

  • nothing sexier than 2 webers on a rotary....hmm maybe 3 itb.s

what i woudnt do for a eunos here in cleveland ohio US closest i can get is a fd rx7

  • ITB rotary, sweet!

  • can you say... THROTTLE RESPONSE!!!!

  • throttle response!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

  • farrrrk. tuff.

  • 5 star GENERAL

    GOD DAMN IT !!!!!!!!

  • 5/5.

    Rotaries Rock.

  • I believe this NA BEAST pumps out around 400hp and 290tq at the wheels with a rpm limit of 9k!

Good question and thanks for watching! :D

  • 400-fucking-NA-horsepower ?!?!

Thats insane for a 2liter motor. Must be really nice track car with that instant throttle response/power delivery.

    I want rotary now!

  • @Mazdas247 I love you dude. ur vids are the best on the internet.

  • how much hp / tq does this NA beast have?

  • Another excellent video. 5stars.

    What a sound☺

  • What a sound indeed...What a wonderful sound it is!

Thanks for watching and for the kind feedback! :D

  • Interesting!!!

This engine has a deep, smooth roar rather than the "brap-brap" sound of the twin rotor motors.

I have never seen a 20B in action before.

    Thanks for posting!!!

  • thats just the way the mic is, around 0:15 u can hear the brap brap

  • The mic I'm using is the DM-100 which is an attachment version for the Canon HF10...Does a fine job of picking up that sweet sweet rotary sound!

    Thanks for watching! :D

  • I hear ya...It does seem quite smooth and that most likely has to do with the way this particular Cosmo/20B has been setup & tuned...You can see how clean and organized the engine bay is...The crew at EST Fukuyama are real pros and put a lot of thought and testing into their Eunos Cosmo Racer.

I've heard & seen other PP 20Bs and although they sound awesome...Some sound quite rough and not fully tuned yet...Especially at idle.

In anycase...Glad you enjoyed the vid...Thanks for watching! :D

  • @OzzInter could be due to the type of porting they have used ,,

  • man, that is music to my ears

  • Mine as well...Thanks for watching! :D

  • Imagine rolling up to a *insert popular sports car model here* at a stop light and giving a few blips of the throttle. I'm sure whoever would be in that car would certainly wake the hell up!

    Beautiful car,beautiful engine,beautiful sound!

  • Haha...Not only would they wake the hell up...They would probably piss in their pants!!!

Thanks for the fun comment and for watching! :D

  • wow.. just, WOW!

now im glad I sold my R33 V-spec and getting a rotory car instead.

thinking of fc since they are classic ;)

thanks for the vid man, that sound on my sterio

was pure sex to my ears haha!

  • Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video...Imagine being there in person...The sound was just INCREDIBLE!

Thanks for the kind feedback and for watching! :D

  • OOOOOOOOO~~~FxxK~~~~what the sounddd~~~

  • Haha...and an awesome sound it is!

Thanks for watching...Glad you enjoyed it! :D

  • i love the sounddd

  • Me too!

    Thanks for watching! :D

  • ufffffffffff A lot of POWERRRR!

  • btw this gave me a lil stiffy ;)

dang rotars getting me all gitty hahaha.

  • I want that on an FD, and move the fuck out of cali. just so i could daily drive the thing

  • I know what you mean but I think the PP 20B above is most at home in its current home...The Eunos Cosmo. I do agree that the 20B itself is an awesome engine and would compliment a variety of performance/sports cars!

As for wanting to legally drive a Cosmo on the streets...You're not just going to have to move out from Cali...but maybe the entire U.S of A!

Good luck and thanks for watching! :D

  • move to Texas lol

  • the cosmo is the dream car of everyones heart.. no one realy knows what they are if they seen it on the streets ( i hav ppl realy scratching their heads as to what mine is) just tell em ''its a cosmo'' and thats all ya need to know ;) brap brap brap

  • put a vid of your cosmo on your site. id like to see it. <3 rotors. my rx is near finished. have everything jus tneed to cut out any rust if i find any.. HOPE NOT!! fix the suspension set up(new all around) and drop in my freshly built 6 port from my gsl-se :). nothing beats a 20 or 26 b tho :)!! gl on tuning when it pops tho :(

  • Keep us updated on your RX, sh3lbot and thanks for watching! :D

  • I hear ya...To everyone out there...Only those who own or have owned a Cosmo know exactly what rotorpowa is talking about...Well said man!

Keep the Cosmo spirit alive and thanks for watching! :D

  • With wings.. look like a GT car.

    Just need some aero Kit.

  • Yeah...Aero kit or not...This racing Cosmo sounds, looks and performs like a BEAST!

Big thanks to shop EST Fukuyama for building this one-of-a-kind Eunos Cosmo and thanks to you for watching my video! :D

  • phat jc bro. my mates got a jc on my page i got an old school rotor

  • Cool...Yeah, this Cosmo is a racing monster...Sounds, performs and looks AWESOME!

Long live Rotary Mazdas and thanks for watching! :D

  • How much does that cosmo weigh? I know it's fully gutted, since the factory ones are really heavy.

  • The factory 20B Cosmo is around 1500kg (3,300lbs) depending on the type which isn't THAT heavy...compared to its modern day competition. :D

If I recall correctly...The Racing Cosmo above (built by EST Fukuyama) is about 1100-1200kg (2400-2600lbs).

  • I've always wanted a daily-driver Cosmo JCES with the 20B motor. Because I know that is one of the greatest and most advanced cars ever made by Mazda. Hopefully when I get some money and able to import it. That is my dream car.

At the moment, I drive a 1987 RX-7 Turbo II. Check my channel for the video.

  • Nice car & Cool video!..I took a closer look today and it looks like your 7 is in good condition...really clean...Nice find!

You should be able to import a Cosmo into Canada (I'm assuming that's where you're from) but put aside some extra dough to make sure it's properly maintained...A healthy 20B is a happy 20B. :)

  • Probably the best looking car to come out of Japan. Along with the RX-7 and RX-8 of course. This Cosmo sounds just as good at low revs as it does at high revs. And dnuofntsol is right. Thats the cleanest engine bay Ive seen in a while. And that sound...sweetness. Cheers.

  • The Eunos Cosmo is definitely one of the most underrated and underappreciated Japanese cars...but I'm trying to change that! :D

Good point...This Cosmo sounds awesome at all revs and that engine bay is definitely super minimal but it's also super sweet..;)

  • i disagree the old school r100, rx2 rx4 where the best produced i like my rotangs ported n/a no turbo :)

  • the sound that dreams are made of

  • Exactly...You said it! :D

  • COSMO

    JCESE 20B Type-E TWIN TURBO

  • That's the Factory designation...The BEAST you see in the above video is a Peripheral Port 20B naturally aspirated (non-turbo) custom built for racing! :D

  • Amazing car, too bad japan no longer makes cars like these, you must be proud, I have a 98 supra with a 3.4 HKS Stroker, Custom Ported heads, Greddy intake manifold, Custom Garrett GT45r 80 milimeter turbo kit...it made 950 HP at the wheels, i love it ;)

  • Definitely an amazing car! This racing Cosmo isn't mine (although I would LOVE to have it...It's from a shop in Japan called EST Fukuyama) but I do own a Eunos Cosmo and I'm crazy about it! :D

Supras are cool cars that can make monster horsepower...Sounds like you have a monster setup...I dig it! :D

Thanks for checking out my vid!

  • Wow, that's a clean engine bay!!

  • Yeah...it was definitely super clean...so was the setup...EST Fukuyama (shop name) really did an amazing job with this Custom Racing Cosmo!

    Thanks for watching! :D
