  • nice playing!!

  • check out my video people

  • do u think is better to buy a used fender strat or a new squier??

  • I think the amp needs turning up , but still a nice guitar.

JMGavin3rd (what ??), anyway . JM whatever is obviously uneducated in the history of these guitars, and i bet he thinks if you put a Fender badge on a plank, then it is a masterpiece. A lot of people are just badge snobs.

  • @AleCaeser It plays ok on my PC speakers. Seems some people hear it well and others don't.

  • Is your guitar plugged in?

If so, it's sooo low! Turn up the amp!

I can hear the strings louder than the amp if it's turned on at all...

    Dm

  • 84' squire.....FAGGIT!?

  • nice

  • How does the older squiers stack up against newer squiers? Sorry to say this guitar is just kinda... idk. The sound doesnt sound right 2 me. But thats just me.

  • I agree it dosnt sound right.

  • Wow,nice reverb

  • Nice strat i have Epiphone Casino and Hofner 500

  • There was an epiphone 1971 hollowbody at a guitar store near here for like 250. He can ship it out to you if u wanted to have a backup hollowbody, idk the exact model name tho.

  • ya i would play a gig with this as a backup buck i would recommend practicing it up get a band together and save up to upgrade to a new guitar i have this and it sounds ok, but im saving up for an epiphone sg 400 alpine white .

  • uhhh sorry dude you dont have an 84 squier, you have an affinity and trust me there is a big difference

  • Thats what I was told! What is the big difference? I have since bought a Strat.

  • Oh i was talking to tjmdanger...toneb711, you have an 84 squier which is an awesome strat

  • Cool man!

I've also got an E series Squier and it does rock

  • What is the E series?

  • please help me ... how do i make these guitar videos ??? please help me with a blow-by-blow description of softwares used and such !!

help would be greatly appreciated !

  • Hey. Nice playing, and nice Axe. But, out of curiosity, how thin is the neck/fretboard on a Squier strat?

  • Nice playing, nice guitar.I've got a mid '80s 'E' series Korean with a maple neck, solid body is routed for singles,Fender stamped saddles, US chunky trem block,Gotoh tuners. The pups weren't that great so i've just put in a set of USA standards and the difference is awesome.

These guitars are the dogs danglies, they play like butter, made of all the right stuff and they're dirt cheap...GET ONE.

Remember to get an 'E' series, the others, especially the 'S'series are probably plywood.

  • I got this E series in a pawn shop a log time ago. My tuners and saddles are stamped with Fender. Was once told these modles were made with some leftover Fender strat parts. Not sure if it's true or not.

Been thinking about new pickups, glad to hear they will make a big difference!

  • i've read that most of the e series squier already come with fender hardware on them including fender pickups, so i might recomend to not get rid of the pickups.

  • Loved it. What are you playing?

  • Just a series of stuff I had made up and then rolled into on tune.

  • should,nt this have been a jap strat, are you sure,, i can barely hear you playin.

  • Crappy camera, sorry. my kids were asleep, so couldn't get real loud. It says Made in Korea on it. I was told about 12 years ago that it was an 84. Looking at the serial number, sound about right
