i ride a yz 85 02 and i normally upshift so i don't hit the jump in the power band(i feel like the bike will come up into my chest and flip out from under me) i always see riders nailing the jumps with the power band and i really want to jump like that too but I'm just scared i will loose the bike or over jump it... help please!!

@benhenriquez24 I did the same thing when I rode my 85! Which was like 4 months ago. I hit in powerband before and it does kick the bike into your chest, just a warning. But like now on my cr 125 I dont have that much of a problem. Its just that the 85 is inbetween an advanced and intermediate bike. My advice is just do what you feel comfortable with...

you can ride a yz 85 as long as u want but u will have to make it big wheel. ppl in there 30's ride yz 85 cuz there peppy. they just change wheel size.

@roudyroy1 id say anywhere from 10 to maybe 14-15 just depends how tall u r like im 11 and i got the small wheel and i can sit on it just fine so if ur like over 5 ft u should probably get the yz 85 lw (big wheel) because there prety tall also if it is ur first bike i wouldnt recomend it cuz its a proper race bike and it actually really hard to ride a stroke at first so if u want to start riding id recomend a crf 150r or crf 150rb just depends how tall u are. hope i helpd:)
