what i like about gatlinburg is that if i stay at a hotel downtown i dont have to drive my car around i can just walk downtown

I love Gatlinburg!!!! I live in Nashville so i'm kind of lucky that my favorite place to visit is not too far! I recommend anyone who loves beautiful views to ride the skylift! Its my tradition to ride everytime i visit!

I love Gatlinburg also!!!! me and my BFF go there like all the time!!!!!!!!! We live like 1 hour away so we always go!!!! lol as a matter of fact shes over there right now but im not there.. lol but ayways gatlinburg rocks sooo hard!!!!!!

Me and my family went here just a few days ago, and it was a nightmare! Too many people around. A quiet mountain town this is not!

It is, although they will deny it, strictly a touristy place. Love the mountains and the area, but Gatlinburg was quite crowded. We stayed at Blue-Green which is a time-share thing--very very nice and closer to the Arts and Crafts area which is where we wish we had spent more time. Much less crowded and not all the tourist attractions everywhere.. We also liked Pigeon Forge

I HATED that chair lift!

There is a horrid picture of me looking quite terrified in the chair with my husband, who was laughing. At one point you cross a road, and my shoe almost fell off onto a car.
