All of which is said you give imagery of a spider. The song is about waking up in a woman's room and finding out how strange she is. It's really as basic as that.

Just a clarification, and a resource for anyone who wants to check em out. The Cursive people have been around for a lot longer than Modest Mouse. Cursive was Slowdown Virginia from 1993-1995, and before that they were The March Hare. I haven't listened to The March Hare, but you should check them all out. Im pretty sure Kasher is in all three. I can't seem to find Slowdown or Hare on Limewire so you'll need to find them elsewhere.
