It's a level playing field on GOW1 every game. When you get that result on GOW2 it makes for a great game. Only happens one out of every 10 games though. That is why there are so many game battles in gears 2.

my friends and i host, so we boot anybody who actives the sniper after we tell em not to. thats the only rule we go by. gamebattles has their own rules too when setting up matches, and so do we when we play. simple as that, even gamebattles lets you use ur own rules as long as the other team agrees upon it. but when we play just public in gears 1,we dont care if they agree or not.we're hosting and playin for fun.nobody has 2 play with us if they want to active.but we always have a full party

active shots are simple if you simply take the time to learn how to use the weapon and not use the easy button to get easy headshots that take literally no skill to do. if you've ever played against the almighty iceman in a match like i have and milkbones? or Itz Milkbonez now... they each will have 30-40 downs in a 10 round match. its pathetic. then they just tkae highlights and put it on thir youtube and say hey we're pro! I've actually been in a party chat and talked with him quite a few times in the past few months. hes a cool guy, but my point and "opinion" is simply that activing the sniper in gears 1 is just plain being a noob. its basically a handicapp for most people in case they miss the headshot. i myself just rather to get the headshot without activing. its not impossible and i feel its with a slightly better skill than activing.

wall bouncing will be in gears 2 but wont be anything like this cause the shotgun is weaker and isn't random anymore, I mean this guy is pretty good but you have to admit he got lucky alot because the other guy shots him point blank but because of the randomness misses, i use the wall bouncong technique alot and i sometimes get lucky, although even against a host its useless which is why in 2 people who mastered this technique will have trouble cause the randomness is fixed so they will get hit
