  • those witches are terrifying.

  • and den i took an arrow to the knee

  • Brain Cox was the perfect voice for macbeth!

  • I LOVE the beginning!

  • @0:03 Gabranth

  • OMG! Play the snow option when Macbeth is alone on the castle! It adds so much!

  • Aw, they left out my favorite part, the line about life being a walking shadow and a poor player.

  • yes got my assessment and im gonna PASS!

  • What i really love about this clip is Macduff rambling about his wife and children. It really proves how much he loves them, and it warms my heart amid all this violence, corruption, and bloodshed.

  • Why do we have to do Macbeth for our English exam? the joys -.-

  • Idiots! Whatever happened to the Show of Eight Kings???

  • from what I now, Moses is not in Macbeth

  • thx for helping my homework (:

  • Pause at 6:30

    His face is genius

  • ROFLMAO omg when the little kid said that dunsinan hill they should his dick and ass!!!

  • @toocoolforyou90 ur kidding right?

  • So cool.

  • is there a part 4 ?

  • the witches are so mysterious if u think about it, like they knew macbeth would kill the king then banquo and so on..

  • @wondrese Ironically, that might not be true.

Look at it this way: in Scotland at this time, the throne isn't hereditary. Malcolm wouldn't become king after Duncan's death if there were more qualified thanes to fill the void. Macbeth, being the recently promoted thane of Cawdor, was actually next in line for the kingship, hence why he became king after Duncan's murder.

If he'd merely waited for the old Duncan to die, he might've still had the throne.

  • Ima pass Ms.Ellis quiz

  • If you're doing this as an essay... count yourself lucky. When I was at school I had to study Merchant Of Venice. That's a real dull one.

  • Shakespeare's finest play. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • can someone please send me their essay because im confused as hell

  • Essay anyone?

  • We studied this play in high school british literature.

  • Dis shitt irs even scarier than the actual film O.O

  • 1:23 thats all i need to pass english...

  • Funny how its meant to be a Scottish set play yet none of the actors ever really have a Scottish accent. Macbeth in this only slightly has one, as if it's put on.

  • uuuuhm...i thought watching it would make it easier...nope! chuck testa.

  • thats it?

  • who is the guy at the end??? Jesus?!

    O.o

  • @bdjewelmoon God.

  • @bdjewelmoon According to Wikipedia, he is just an "old man". In the actual play, he appears in another scene, when he discusses Duncan's death with one of the King's friends.

  • @verkaforever thanks XD

  • @bdjewelmoon I felt I should make a correction. I found out afterwards, he's actually only in the scene after Duncan's death is discovered. For some reason, they edited it here. The words at the end are actually spoken at the end of the scene I mentioned. They actually fit better at the end.

  • @bdjewelmoon Haha I thought Moses!

  • @bdjewelmoon Duncan's ghost I think.

  • damn hella trippy

  • Hi 21st century class :) JH !

  • best way for me to understand this play is right here, but I'm having nightmares tonight!

  • Macbeth is of such a treasonous character. Lady Macbeth & himself played equal roles in the death of a loyal king. Interesting & thanks for sharing!!

  • theme: guilt will kill you

  • Is that Brian Cox doing the voice of Macbeth? I love his voice. As I love this entire movie. I think Shakespeare did a great job writing this story. Thanks for posting.

  • Lady Macbeth casts a curvacious figure!

  • When Macduff found out about his wife and kids- heart wrenching! I could feel his dispear....:( plus the music made it worse....

  • This helped alot! = )

  • I wouldn't say that Macbeth is a story about murder and betrayal. it's about how when if you kill once, you have to cover up again and again and therefore you can't stop and then it will destroy you, and that power can go so far as destroying a good person and turn them into a monster who will do anything for power.

  • @uchihaxharuno13

he was also the thane who discovered Duncen's murdered body.

  • SUPERB !

    SAURABH

  • whhhooaaa!!!!

now i can score high marks in my test>>>>!!!!!

  • this is kinda of scary...

  • Hey is the lion king is a little bit base on "Macbeth" I mean Macbeth (scar) killed King Duncan (Mufasa) than became king and surrounded Scotland (Pridelands) with darkness than Macduff (Simba) cane back a defeated Macbeth (Scar) than became the new king and darkness fled away, I say the lion king it's a little bit like Macbeth because 1.The Main Character (need I say more) 2.Scar didn't have any guilt killing Mufasa as Macbeth was going crazy with the guilt of mudering.

So that's why I ask is

  • @RalphECoyote No. The Lion King's based on Hamlet. You got the wrong play.

As in, the uncle kills the king, the son runs away/does nothing, then he returns for vengeance.

  • @TheEmpress666 oh my bad lol

  • @RalphECoyote

well it's sort of like Macbeth too.

it's not mentioned in this version but macduff joins with one of duncin's sons to join the uprising

  • @TheLewis110 Cool story bro want a sticker?

  • does anyone know who is the old man in the end, and whats the message he gives us?

  • @TheLewis110 nice summary of the plot..

  • Wa,scary my literature exam is test the stoy of Macbeth

  • i always thought it would be cool to watch this on acid

  • and i though macbeth was sexy and strong

  • Woohoo! I'm gonna pass English now!

  • @thegammageek1 Me too!

  • what bothers me is that is not complete hahaha

  • @TheLewis110 thought it was more like the witches only told him that he would become king, not that he would murder the king. he had Banquo killed in hopes that the assassins would get Fleance cuz the witches said that Banquo's sons would be king, and because Macbeth murdered him, he thought that Banquos sons would do the same to him. Lady Macbeth killed herself cuz she was guilty about Duncan. its more a story of Ambition, paranoia, murder and guilt.

  • @Nynphygoraxx Lady Macbeth's suicide was more out of guilt that she hadn't stopped Macbeth from murdering Macduff's wife and children.

  • @verkaforever She basically went in the opposite order of morality that her husband did. She started off ambitious and amoral, spurring Macbeth to kill Duncan and whatnot. If not for her, Macbeth would have called the whole thing off.

But from then on, as Macbeth became hardened to such actions, Lady Macbeth began to actually feel the qualms that Macbeth had at the start. Near the play's end, her husband has become a brutal madman, and it's entirely her fault.

  • one inch wiener lol

  • dis helps alot gotta a litriture test 2morrow on macbeth

  • theres so many good parts/lines missing in this :(

  • @cav0129 I know. For instance, Lady Macbeth doesn't accuse her husband of cowardice in refusing to kill Duncan, we are given little relationship between Macduff and Malcolm other that they are fighting Macbeth's tyranny. And only half of the most famous quote from Macbeth is presented! I know this was meant to last 30 minutes, but I just think these are crucial to the play

  • didnt they hav bras back then??????????? lol im not complaining

  • WTF?! DANCING DEVIL BABY!! this is sooo gonna give me nightmares

  • yes there was a fourth it was a procession of eight descendants of Banquo.

  • his wife his babes

  • there was a fourth appartion? we were thought that there were only 3...what's the fourth one?

  • @SManchilli The fourth was with the eight kings. The sons of Banquo. Because Banquo shalt get kings. His ghost is there as well.

  • I have fuken english shit for schoool this helps heaps thanks so much

  • Hahaha macbeth test tomrrow fck this helps alot

  • peniss at redtube because i got high 118 pwns all 7x1 st goeres andrew m

  • this is probably the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

  • The witch with the white mask is fine as fuck...

  • wow!! thnx dude I have an English test tomorrow so instead of reding the play again I watched this :D now I'm prepared for the exam!! oh but in 1:20 there weren't any naked guys in the play..

  • Is there any way to get rid of the weenie so I can show this to my class?

  • They forgot the fourth apparition.

  • can someone tell me why Macbeth have unibrows?

  • thanks i prepared for examz thru it.............

  • omg macbeths face makes me so uncomfortable

  • 7:44 the beheaded of macbeth was sooooo fucking BRUTAL, i love it! It be awesome if they show this uncensored version on a channel like cartoonnetwork or nick toons, i'd sure be watching it. but anyways the story is dark, how greed drive any human insane like that. its actually not a great play and im not usually into this kind of stuff nor am i into poems or into shakespeare but weird enough i actually understood the cryptic old english language and i have to say its pretty cool.

  • I used to be scared until I found out that Lady Macbeth was Susan from My Family xD

  • 1:00 OMG!!! That is creepy... A baby in the caldron...and its melts away... D:

  • @theeFri hahaha...das creepy

  • omg freaky but its gd =P

  • This Film Is Humerous and i like it when Macbeth Dies

  • This Film Is Humerous

  • Now I can finally understand the full story of Macbeth; so I don't have to read my boring Literature book. :D

  • he could of just cut off mcduff's balls.

  • this is the betst

  • @TheLewis110 ah that makes sence. thanks

  • did anyone else get a boner when the naked kid was on? no? yeah me neither!

  • I still dont understand this movie...now imagine how fucked up the book is...

  • Could anyone explain to me about how this story goes? i watched the whole thing but i never read it before. and was kind of confused when i was watching this.

  • MacBeth may be the protagonist, I think MacDuff is the real hero in this. I feel sorry for him loosing his wife and children. Can't blame him for wanting vengance fore their murders.

  • There's nothing wrong with a cartoon version of a Shakespeare play, provided the actors don't speak their parts like cartoon characters!

  • It's so weird watching this and seeing how confusing and trippy stuff is. But I guess it's kind of supposed to make you feel how insane Macbeth has become at this point.

  • Hi i'm wondering if anyone knows the name of the animated film or programme described > i remember seeing it as a kid and i forgot the name of it. the only things i remember was couple of scenes where this god guy coold change his size. and then an army hide in sacks in a barn to ambush their enemy but they get spotted and killed by the same soldier who throws a toddler into the fire to start a battle with them. anyone have any idea what i'm describing. Much help if they can think of anything.

  • wow great, really helps me (i am german) for my klausur next week i hope.

i like shakespeare and i am into this whole macbeth-story but for an untalented german pupil sometimes the old language is hard to understand ;)

  • thanks man! i watched this cause my teacher told me to read it for homework and it helped me to understand it better but i kind of got messed up with the characters.

  • At 1:30, that kid needs to put on some underwear.

  • lady macbeths titties rule!!!!!

  • My friend and I made a song about Macbeth for an english project. The class liked it so much, that they told us to put it on youtube. Well, we did. You should check it out on my channel =)

  • Ahh it's all a lot of surreal bizarenes, really it's just an story dominated by demented bearded men talking bollocks.

  • He's clearly going insane and with his reputation, I doubt anyone in the Scottish Army is going to die, fighting for this murderous madman.

  • As the play goes on MacBeth finds himself more and more alone. So, you are right.

  • coooooooool

  • Thank so much for this. Great animation.

  • Lady Macbeth is effected throughout as her resolve fails her because she cannot be unsexed. Look to 3.2 (the beginning), 3.4, and then 5.1 (notice she has been absent on stage for some time now). In 5.1 the death of the thane of fife's wife especially effects her, but remember she would have killed Duncan herself if he did not look like her grandfather in act 2, and here in 5.1 she reliving this moment. Her gentlewoman also states that this (her sleepwalking and talking) is no new development.

  • That's the result of MacBeth's shrinking conscience from killing innocent people all the time. No time for morning, as he feels he must do all that he can to stay in power.

  • Thanks a lot for sharing this animation. It's much easier to understand visual stuff than reading the whole play.

  • i nearly crapped meh pants watchin this O_O why was his eyes so wide all the time it looked like he was on crack or on some new kind of super coffee

  • lol saw this just today in my english lesson. in my opinion, the witches acted like they were on crack or summat bad XD

  • that was trippy... Not sure what to say otherwise. It gave a good review of the story though

  • The witches know how to pull off some rhymes!

  • Seriously what's with the creepy naked guy. That wasn't in the play.

  • @seraduha1 its the third apparition, the boy with the crown and a tree in his hand. Its the way the director took it though that makes the boy appear naked.

  • this really helped since i had to find a perfect voice for one of the apparitions for school play

  • 4 you

  • this gave me a much needed visual interpretation of the text. Much better than polanskis film too if you ask me.

  • Wow! This is so epic! I'm getting really used to Shakespere after reading Romeo and Juliet already.

  • YAY, didn't have to do my home work ( reading Macbeth) XD

  • @Maiya54 me too
