The song shift at 3:21 has been one of my absolute favorites ever since I first heard it. It's the musical equivalent of walking out of a smoke filled room and taking a deep breath of clean, fresh air; of emerging from shadows into a brightly lit glade; of finally coming to the realization that you have the power and opportunity to make a positive change in your life. This song is deeply moving to me, and I love it still, after all these years.

No Need to Argue was, by far, their best album, followed closely by their debut. I think Departed was their least good tied with Coffee, which actually grew on me after a while, and Hatchet was great, but not as good as the first two. Same with Counting Crows. Second album perfect, followed by the first, then just complete shit after.

The composition for this song is GENIUS. Zombie is just another pop song. It was basically used for allowing the Cranberries to start using distorted guitars. Nothing more.

When I was little, maybe 4 years old, my dad started letting me listen to them.

From then on, I always admire the beauty of their music.

I remember going on long roadtrips and The Cranberries being the ONLY thing I ever listened to there and back.
