The Extreme Q is better in virtually every regard, coming from someone who has owned both. The Bags blow a little less quickly with the Q but the temperature range is wider and you can get more out of the same amount, while also having greater versatility to hit the whip or out of waterpipes, and at less than half the cost.

Q > Volcano by most reasonable measures.

Solid video! I have not yet tried a vaporizer, but I'm interested in trying one. I've been told that they are also more efficient with your herb. Do you find that you get more "mileage" vaporizing than smoking?

Do you have any experience with the Vapor Daddy/Deluxe Daddy series of vapes? My buddy recently got one and to be honest it's kinda crap. The times I've used it, I barely get high and after about an hour I just bust out my bong

I just got mine for $160 as well. I'm doing elbow hits non-stop in my EQ and I've saved about $90 dollars worth of herb already. This thing is truly amazing for efficiency, far out cedes Volcano's efficiency. Do research on EQ Elbow Hits and be amazed. Destroys the $550 dollar vaporizer.

just got this vape 2 weeks ago and had great times smoking with it... for about 15 hours in total. Yesterday, after about 3 hours of vaping bags with friends, the heat started dropping! and now it won't go above room temperature :O Shit, I'm wondering if that can be fixed or if I should use my warranty. @TheOZBehindCurtain Haha cool, yea it is a pretty good vape, if you're going to vape a small amount try packing your herbs into the elbow screen instead of the glass cylinder like the directions say, if u don't know what I mean I have a video about it on my channel, seems to work better for smaller amounts.

@TheOZBehindCurtain Anytime, and yes in your case I would probably advise against the Extreme-q, it's not very good for small draws or for taking them one at a time. It's more of a party vape or for heavy hitters IMO. Have you seen the Magic-Flight Launch Box? that might work better for you, its much easier to take small draws with that one and to work at it slowly. The Vapir NO2 is also good for small draws, but in ur specific case i'm leaning towards the MFLB being a better fit

What temperature do you use for the extreme Q 4.0?

this is a very good review, I own a extreme q and my friend owns the volcano classic and I agree with everything you said, when using this vape in whip mode while only packing the elbow tightly it is very effective and efficient on your herb. give it a try.

I have found Olive oil is a great cleaner for my Volcano. Just put some on some kitchen paper, Rub it over the parts u want to clean then rub a clean piece over to wipe offf any excess oil and residue.

I enjoy my Extreme Q and have never had any problems. You mention using rubbing alcohol to clean the screens, I personally wait until they get sticky pick them up with tweezers and let all of the oil buildup burn off, you will be amazed by how well the oil burns off.

@408NortherNcali I've never actually smoked the oil but I bet it would work. And yes, you just hold the screen with tweezers and hold a lighter under it until it turns red and all of it burns off.

Whats the difference between the V-Tower and Extreme-Q vaporizers they both look exactly the same?
