The fear of losing health care benefits is one of the main reasons why people are content to work 9-5 for some big company instead of taking the risk to start a business.

You can't pass a balance budget when you inherited a budget with $1.5T in deficit.
You can't pass a balance budget during a RECESSION.
The Healthcare Reform Bill is an ECONOMIC BILL as well.
1. If everyone pays for health care, that means less tax dollars is needed to pay for unpaid health care costs.
2. One of the reasons few people are unwilling to be ENTREPRENEURS is because they have to worry about health care => no new companies!

The fear of losing health care benefits is one of the main reasons why people are content to work 9-5 for some big company instead of taking the risk to start a business.
With Obamacare, now an entrepreneur can take that risk and still afford to buy good health care insurance.
Obamacare does not give free health care. It tells does who can afford it, to buy it. Those who truly cannot afford it, will get subsidies. The whole point is to eventually get people off of Medicare.

Are you aware that the top 1% of Americans already pay over 50% of the nations taxes. I agree they need to pay more than the rest obviously but enough's enough. Its not like Obama gives a shit about anything except getting elected anyways G.E. made 150 billion dollars last year and is the biggest single business in the world but they paid absolutely zero in taxes. Strange that G.E.'s CEO is one of Obama's advisers!!

The reason you got your facts wrong is because you think Obama/Dems are responsible for the increased in the deficit that was due to Bush/GOP policies.
The costs of the Bush/GOP policies are in PERPETUITY, ie. still in effect, re-occurring
Obama/Dems' new policies since taking office in early Jan 2009 have only caused ~204B in NEW spending costs.
Bush/GOP policies caused over $5T in NEW spending costs to this very day.
You cannot blame Obama/Dems for Bush/GOP spending.

The majority of the gov't's deficit today are due to the GOP.
Obama/DEMS spending:
1. Stimulus cost: $711B
2. Stimulus tax cuts: $425B
3. Other (healthcare, non-disc): $430B
Obama/DEM savings: $126B
The STIMULUS costs were due to GOP failed policies. If you remove the STIMULUS costs, Obama/Dems have only increased gov't spending by $204B
Bush alone increased the deficit by $5T!

There is a BIG difference between inheriting a ~200B SURPLUS and a ~1.5T DEFICIT.
Bush's own economic advisors warned him his tax cuts were ill-advised.
Imagine you are a billionaire or CEO in Nov 2000. Bush wins presidency. So what do you do now?
You put off investments because you know you can make more money in tax cuts after Bush implements his tax cuts.
=>SUPPLY decreases as DEMAND increases=>INFLATION=>BUBBLE BURST=>RECESSION.
Bush=> 3 mini + 1 BIG recession.
