  • What i do is i just wake up, do whatever, go downstairs, get the milk out, drink the milk, get sime rice crispies, pour some milk, eat the rice crispies, drink the left over milk, feel good, go school.

  • I was the same at your age. Ensure you eat AT LEAST 30g of protein after every workout WITHIN 30 minutes of working out. If you want to get big and grow, though protein is very important- eating more carbs (healthy) will help tons. When you workout- if you dont feel sore the next day, push yourself harder- no pain no gain. Continue to look on youtube here for proper workout techniques and proper form when doing them. Workout hard in the gym, Eat correctly, and sleep correctly- you'll get bigger.

  • If you are 200 lbs, you will need betweem 200 - 300 grams of protein a day. Your goal shoul dbe 1.5 - 2 grams of protein per lb of body weight.

    I am 188lbs, and I take in about 340 grams of protein a day.

  • Actually. Protein is good for loosing weight as well as gaining mass. It will aid your work in the gym without adding needless sugars, which end up as fat. Also, protein satisfies hunger more than most carbs, certainly processed ones like white bread. Look out for protein supplements with high (above 80%) protein content, and low sugary carbs and fats.

  • Hemp (seed) protein is the superior form of protein for our bodies. Then comes beans and nuts, followed by meat, and in VERY last place is soy and whey. Hemp protein has all your essential amino acids as well as many other benefits. look it up, it's truly a super food.

    soy is harmful for you, carcinogenic, folded over, your body can't properly get at it. it's cheap and thats why companies spike our food it, so they can say "there's 10g in this" but you can't actually use it.

  • Why would u eat concentrated dairy with fruit? The 2 types of food have opposite digestive processes and each impedes chemical digestion of the other. As far as food combinations go, this video gets a "D".

    Also the video talks about absorption rates without regard to digestion rates. You may absorb protein in meat at higher amounts but the digestion process is much slower and requires more metabolic energy.

  • Awesome video! I didn't get a couple of things, otherwise it's 5/5 for me.

    1) Where does soy protein fall?

    2) Rice and beans and wheat? Is that to say that they are similar to each other? I thought that some beans were fairly high in protein while rice had virtually none. Or is it that "rice and beans" as a dish has that BV, similar to wheat?
