If you are talking about the first definition, then yes there are snipers in paintball. If you are talking about the second definition, then no, most paintball guns shoot the same distance because they are (usually) shooting the same paint at the same velocity. An exception is the Tiberius First strike
Dragoncarrier...the distance issue may be so, but arching the paintball just a little bit gets a sniper a bit more distance than infantry. Chances are however, that the further you are, the more likely the paintball will just bounce off the enemy, so make sure to play around with your marker to test its limitations using varied techniques to gain distance. Also, learn to use a ghillie suit (means duck walk, regulate breathing, stay still!!!!!). Have fun everyone!

Take it from me (Tippman 98, 14" barrel, full ghillie on top of wl bdu), true snipers wont use much paint (one shot one kill), so usage of a tac cap is a must as well.

ok. i got my paintball gun yesterday.. i think i might have 2 problems. first under the gun were u put the air tank on, their is a small hole, when i take the tank off air shoots out of it. and when i put the tank on it leaks. i am using c02? any help
When you take it off, turn it a quater turn and then fire your weapon until it stops cocking itself then remove it. That will stop any excess CO2 from the gun from coming out on your hand

well not everything is better, I personally love my x7 and yes it is one amazing gun but it is built from a cheaper metal then the a5 and can gte damaged much easier. not to mention all the add on parts are made of plastic, which is lighter but can break more easier.

i have a question...
i just got an x7 and it wasted a 9oz in 5 min and a 20oz in 15 min. should i upgrade to compressed air or nitros? which is better for the money?

depends .... really if its cheaper where u live to refill your N2 get that .. but like where i live they only have CO2 so it sucks ..

with the cyclone feed and e-grip it really sucks up the gas dude. at 20 balls per second, you cant really expect less.
