just because you don't agree with the interpretation doesn't make it wrong. I loved it and it doesn't make it right. i didn't think the song or the video was dark or sunny. that's such a black and white way to look at things. I thought the whole thing was just melancholic. props too for a simple but original concept guys.

well, just because a song has the word "sun" in it, doesn't necessarily mean one has to interpret it in a sunny way. To me, the sentence "the sun smells too loud" is a total fnck up of the senses, much in the same way a blinking dementia'd person may feel on a bright day. The tones of the music aren't overly angsty or dark, but the indifference of the walker in the video and the off-kilter antics of the people in the background... well, I think the video works.
