@Pochivka How many mmo's have you plaiyed ? Exactly... I tried most of them. Gameplay wise WoW has the most to offer. If you like hardcore PvP, Lineage 2 is number one. If you want a nice graphic... most of mmo's have nice graphic right now... Aion and WoW after you hit cap , don't have much to offer. You keep grinding same dungeons/raids/instances all over again. PvP is long a boring. In Aion cleric were OP and same is with WoW where some classes are more OP than others. Lineage FTW

I've been playing Aion since it was first release and it was fun at first, but got boring FAST....I jumped back to WoW and appreciated it much more. PvP in Aion is a joke. F*cken 600 people fighting for forts and lagging all over the place...completely ridiculious. Also if you are on a server that isn't balance, tough luck. They had to merge the servers because so many people quit this game.
WOW and AION are great games. I know cus i play both. only play AION if ur willing to pretty much grind ur way to end content. AION has no solid storyline. But the end content is pretty kool with the PVP n PVE. WOW is better in terms of actually attractin ppl cus its not a grind feast mmorpg but gay in terms of PVP with the battleground.
I tried it when it was released in EU. Totally sucked. Impossible to be in the pvp-zone (where the xp happend to be best too) because of griefing. Quest reward sucked. The reward was usually equal to killing something like 5 mobs....
The graphic sucks too. YES, the chars. looks great. But look on the ground when you are out grinding (which you are forced to because not enough stuff to do), the animations of other things etc. Bla, even wow have better, more dynamic graphic that that doll shit.
Of course the graphic can be nice/better in comparison with other MMO's (did you miss my comment about wow where I stated I compared it to that game, among others). I made my statement about the graphics partly because of the comments about it so wanted to convey my opinion on the subject.
To reiterate, the graphics is the same or worse when compared compared to other MMO's. It is not amazing. But the character models are good (about all that is good though...)
graphics are AMAZING (couldnt type it bigger, should be like x10 times bigger) its kinda nice to play and all... but playing wow still is a MUCH better experience (x11 times bigger this time). So...ill keep playing wow

WoW controls around half of the MMO subscription market. if it kills itsself, its not going to because of graphics. Look at all these korean MMOs. (including Aion). the graphics are amazing. But that doesnt count for shit, if the gameplay is a grindfest. WoW will remain the king of MMOs until another game comes in with a fresh perspective on the genre. it will certainly not be this horrible grindfest of a game.

If WoW copied off Aion, why are most of the mechanics similar and that WoW came out first. Unless Blizzard was spying on NC soft, you can't deny that its Aion that took influence from WoW.
I played wow for 5 yrs. and now I am bored and I realy dont care about the new expansion Cataclysm. I also played aion for 1 month and I have found the same fun in the game . I also liked AION more than WOW because the magic effects are way better than the WOW effects

Ive played in a high raid guild as a healbot for over 2 years :)) TBC was the ultimate grind fest -> grinding for rep to be able to do heroics and Karazhan. Wotlk isn't much better. Trial of the Crusader? Zzzz, still more grinding for emblems. Learn to read my friend.
If you would have played from beta, it would take 5 years playing wow, and u said 2. Lies. Lol my last reply, seriously :) I've been a healbot in that guild for 2 years, yes. Before the healbot period and afterwards, I've played in several more social guilds . The grind fest started in TBC so I had to mention it. As for WOTLK and TOC on heroic or hard mode, I agree with you that's not for everybody. Making it grind fest for emblems for the rest of them. Being first on the healing meter does not make you a good healer. DPS yes, but healing no. Healing involves good reflexes and keeping everything under control.
From what you said you must have had over the top armor, while other healers were under geared or you were just in a lower level instance.
But when you are not so over matched, then healing does take concentration and skill.

City of Heroes' graphics kick the crap out of any MMO I've seen or played to date. I've got a nice rig and it still manages to put the pressure on an nVidia 9800 GTX+. AND it's an MMO full of super heroes fighting zombies, aliens, and nazis. What more could you want? =P
You are just showing your ignorance of the game. Ive played ALOT of free games before, Aion is 10 steps above any of them in terms of quality, content, gameplay, graphics. Only people that didnt play beta and just saw screens/videos say stuff like this.

How does originality play into the game being good. MMORPG's aren't always going to be original, especially asian ones. They draw on similar genres of lore for a reason, people want a fantasy world setting in an MMO environment. Koreans came up with most of the innovation in MMO's already as it is, any further innovation will most likely be found in Aion, since its going to be one of the few high budget international release korean games. Look at Lineage1....
Hey guys. I am quitting my current MMO that i've played since day one, Lord of the Rings Online, for Aion. I led one of the top 3 best clans on AoC when I played it (Niflheimr -- currently Legion of the Black Dragon)... but am going to focus all of my time on this game. I have lots of experience leading clans and such, and have quite a few RL and online friends going to join my clan. Please get back to me with more information, surely we can make this game a fantastic social experience.

Take it easy with the hype till the full game is out, beta can some times hurt a game if people dont realise that thing can and will change in the retail version.
trust me this game is mad interesting and pretty fun to play. i've only made it to lvl 16 but its been so effortless to reach that point in the game because i was having so much fun.
Aion has already recieved a huge amount of praise in Korea and China. i feel like its something that brings a bit of new flavor to the MMO world.
If this was free it would defently get it, but if not, im stil not sure, have to look more on it. doesent look to beat the some of the latest MMO's lately, the grafic looks like Guild Wars or Warhammer, maybe alitle of Lotro to, but not sure about this one

once you hit lvl 9 you get a quest to ascend finish the quest you automatically lvl to lvl 10 talk to some ppl in your respective city and poof wings yay!! (so yes every class can fly)
you have have it at the buttom or the top or split it into diffrent peice's you can add up for 5 extra quick bar's but there transparent untill you put skills/items on them its realy good the way they did it . if you look at the first closed korean beta they have completely changed the way the game looks.. was awsome i can't wait to play it on its offical release in euro/usa
yeah it does suck that it has taken them so long to get the game out even in asia. this was the chinese beta we played. The closed beta had no glitch's or problems that we could see. the game looked perfected. i don't mind waiting for it to be released because ive had a taste of it and its one of those things that the expression " good things come to those who wait" was made for
You can play the game now. Just dl the chinese version and do the english patch. There's a region opening up with 15 free days, after that you can buy time cards.

Oh man you really can't read, can you? "Ive played Wow from beta" means: Ive played from the start so beta, Vanilla, TBC AND Wotlk :)
Ive played in a high raid guild as a healbot for over 2 years :)) TBC was the ultimate grind fest -> grinding for rep to be able to do heroics and Karazhan. Wotlk isn't much better. Trial of the Crusader? Zzzz, still more grinding for emblems. Learn to read my friend.

If you would have played from beta, it would take 5 years playing wow, and u said 2. Lies. Emblem fgrind was given by Blizzrd so Noobs/Scrubs could get to the end game content easier, doesn't mean they can do thing till there. Karazhan is way behind stop talking about TBC jeez. Lol my last reply, seriously :) I've been a healbot in that guild for 2 years, yes. Before the healbot period and afterwards, I've played in several more social guilds . The grind fest started in TBC so I had to mention it. As for WOTLK and TOC on heroic or hard mode, I agree with you that's not for everybody. Making it grind fest for emblems for the rest of them. And I already rectified my previous post about your english skills. Chill out and have a nice day:)

TBC made WoW better in so many ways. Aion is more of a grind fest than WoW for the record, not that there is anything wrong with it.

When WoW first came out, it was still a better game compared to Aion in terms of world design, and how players can interact with the world.
My response was to Antoniobadedas, because I was pointing out the irrational comments he made. My point about WoW expansions:
TBC made WoW MUCH BETTER. If someone thinks that reputation questing is a "grind fest" then they obviously don't know what a grind fest is.
I hate the term healbot because healing is much challenging than that.

Being first on the healing meter does not make you a good healer. DPS yes, but healing no. Healing involves good reflexes and keeping everything under control.
From what you said you must have had over the top armor, while other healers were under geared or you were just in a lower level instance.
But when you are not so over matched, then healing does take concentration and skill.

How does originality play into the game being good. MMORPG's aren't always going to be original, especially asian ones. They draw on similar genres of lore for a reason, people want a fantasy world setting in an MMO environment. Koreans came up with most of the innovation in MMO's already as it is, any further innovation will most likely be found in Aion, since its going to be one of the few high budget international release korean games. Look at Lineage1....

Hey guys. I am quitting my current MMO that i've played since day one, Lord of the Rings Online, for Aion. I led one of the top 3 best clans on AoC when I played it (Niflheimr -- currently Legion of the Black Dragon)... but am going to focus all of my time on this game. I have lots of experience leading clans and such, and have quite a few RL and online friends going to join my clan. Please get back to me with more information, surely we can make this game a fantastic social experience.

trust me this game is mad interesting and pretty fun to play. i've only made it to lvl 16 but its been so effortless to reach that point in the game because i was having so much fun.
Aion has already recieved a huge amount of praise in Korea and China. i feel like its something that brings a bit of new flavor to the MMO world.

once you hit lvl 9 you get a quest to ascend finish the quest you automatically lvl to lvl 10 talk to some ppl in your respective city and poof wings yay!! (so yes every class can fly)

you have have it at the buttom or the top or split it into diffrent peice's you can add up for 5 extra quick bar's but there transparent untill you put skills/items on them its realy good the way they did it . if you look at the first closed korean beta they have completely changed the way the game looks.. was awsome i can't wait to play it on its offical release in euro/usa

yeah it does suck that it has taken them so long to get the game out even in asia. this was the chinese beta we played. The closed beta had no glitch's or problems that we could see. the game looked perfected. i don't mind waiting for it to be released because ive had a taste of it and its one of those things that the expression " good things come to those who wait" was made for

You can play the game now. Just dl the chinese version and do the english patch. There's a region opening up with 15 free days, after that you can buy time cards.
